Weekend Wrap-up: luau fun + lots of golf + baseline appointment

This weekend FLEW BY. It was busy, but spent with lots of our favorite people. Friday afternoon was rough…I’m on birth control right now for our mock cycle. Our clinic does this to get everyone on the same schedule for appointments. Birth control makes me so dang sick the first three to four days that I’m on it. Friday was day four and I was down for the count. We spent the afternoon in Coop’s massive playpen. He watched TV while I just laid there feeling sorry for myself. Thankfully, he was content to play by himself for the most part.

I started to feel better later in the day, which was good because we had a fun luau to go to that night. We had the best time!

Thankful for these amazing mom friends and their wonderful husbands.

My throat was sore from laughing so hard with this two Friday night.

Saturday morning started with a little sleeping in, runs for both of us, and then some golf. We headed to Highland Springs for the Korn Ferry golf tournament Saturday afternoon. Coop had the BEST time. He would quietly clap every time of the players hit a ball.

I loved getting to squeeze this girl!

We love when Aunt Chelsea is in town! Coop was so excited, despite his face in this picture.

The best Aunt Chelsea snuggles. <3

Sunday morning started with some more sleeping in, followed by some outside play time. Coop lounged on the sidewalk in-between hitting golf balls.

Sunday night, we headed to Jake’s parents’ house for dinner. Coop, of course, brought his golf clubs with him. We all took turns brushing up on our golf skills.

I’m pretty sure Coop has Hand, Foot, and Mouth. He doesn’t have the rash or anything yet, but he’s running a fever. Four of the kiddos we played with last week have it, so I’m 90% sure Coop does, too. I’m praying he has a mild case!

I have my baseline appointment Wednesday, then my mid-cycle the beginning of August. As of now, I think we’ll do the mock transfer (endometrial biopsy) toward the end of August. Ready to get it over with!

Happy Monday, friends!
