Home sweet home + mid-cycle for IVF + bike fun!

On Monday, we ended up spending about three hours in Hays, KS, which is the cutest little town! We grabbed lunch at a local brewery, then Coop rode his bike back to the van. He had a blast and only tried to ride into traffic once…ha!

Thank goodness for Bluey, y’all. I don’t know how parents did it before we had iPads. This kid watched A LOT of Bluey on our trip. We had an ice cream stop before dinner. It was delicious.

Tuesday morning started with my very last mid-cycle appointment ever. Which is crazy! Our clinic wants my lining to be above a 7 at this point and mine was 10.5! Which is great news. During Coop’s transfer, at my mid-cycle, my lining was 8.15, so it’s thicker this time around. It’s still surreal that we are almost ready to transfer AND that we’re almost finished with IVF for good. I am ready for both!

After my appointment, I had a quick meeting and then knocked out a little bit of work before heading out for my run. I am loving this cooler weather.

I felt pretty solid on this run! Thankful to be feeling decent at this point in the IVF process.

My bra finally REALLY broke. Ha! I have had the hardest time finding a good sports bra, so I have used the two that I have liked the best until they’re falling apart. I FINALLY found a bra that I think I’m going to like…I’ll share more once I get a few runs in it. This one is going in the trash.

We are still waiting to hear which day we will transfer, but this was an exciting message to get from our coordinator at our clinic. It’s really happening!

This kid loves his hats and his bikes.

One of our favorite dinners – ground turkey with coconut aminos and garlic, yellow squash, and sticky rice. So. Good. And can be ready in 30 minutes or less.

We are just waiting to hear from our clinic about which day we’ll transfer next week. I reread some of my blog posts about Coop’s transfer and it’s crazy what all I’ve forgotten in the past two-ish years. I’m glad I have everything written down! I have not done the best job documenting things this time around…I’m going to try to do a better job.

Happy Wednesday, friends!
