I forgot to share this picture from Saturday. Cooper got to meet his sweet baby cousin, Ford! he was so gentle with her. It was precious.

Monday morning, Rhea and I headed out for a recovery run. We have had such wonderful weather the past few days. We have been making sure to enjoy the sunshine!

Jake was off work on Monday, so he and Coop had a boys’ day. I got back from my run to them playing with Coop’s new Jeep.

I had a two hour faculty meeting, so my boys headed to the park to enjoy the sunshine. I think they had the best time.

I hated being away from Coop so much on Monday. As soon as my meeting was over, we nursed and snuggled.

Don’t worry, I moved his head so it wasn’t like that on the blanket, but we are cracking up at how his foot was sitting against his crib.

Monday night, our good friends, Chris, Brittany, and their son Jett came over for dinner. Coop and Jett are about three months apart. They had so much fun playing in the ball pit.

While Jake grilled burgers, we took it outside and the boys rode around in Coop’s Jeep. It was precious. Pray for us in about 15 years when they both start driving for real…

Tuesday morning, we headed out to knock out my workout run. I thought I planned it perfectly to line up with when Coop usually takes a morning nap, but I have never been so wrong. He was pretty angry most of my warm-up, so we finally stopped after 18 minutes so I could nurse him and see if he’d fall asleep.

It had been a long time since we had to stop and do this mid-run. It did not really help. He didn’t fall asleep. He stopped screaming though, so I kept doing my work out.

Little man got upset off and on until the very last minute of my last push. He finally fell asleep during that one. I was able to finish up the work out and get in my cool down while he snoozed.

This workout was far from perfect, but we got it in. Training and mom life aren’t always an easy balance, but we made it work.

After my run, we had a delicious lunch, and then our nanny came over so I could knock out some work. I spent most of Tuesday afternoon on my computer.

When Jake got home from work, I threw together a quick dinner. We had tri-tip, cheesy veggies, a roll, and salad. Coop loved all of it.

After dinner, we headed out for a little family walk and to let Cooper play in his Jeep. He loves this Jeep so much.

Happy Wednesday, friends!
