We got some sidewalk chalk and we’re having a blast. Not sure who’s having more fun…me or Cooper, but we get outside each morning after breakfast to play in the rocks and draw with chalk.
He is indeed living his best life. Ha! The chalk is everywhere all the time.
When you nap almost three hours and have a mouth full of PB&J – pure happiness. Why does he look so big here? My heart can’t handle it.
After lunch, we headed to the aquarium at the last minute. It was so dang hot outside, but Coop needed to run around, so I thought the aquarium would be perfect. He loved it, but wanted me to hold him most of the time. I got a little bit of a workout in carrying him around for an hour. Ha!
I had girls’ night last night and it’s always my favorite night of the month. We have the BEST time. And new girls show up each month, which is so fun. So glad this pretty gal had the idea to start a monthly get together! <3

We played outside this morning – more chalk and golf. This kid cracks me up. He likes to mark each big limestone rock with chalk as he’s walking on them. I love watching his brain work.
I have my post-op appointment this morning! I feel SO good. I don’t think I realized how miserable I was before surgery. I had just gotten used to feeling pretty blah all the time. I am hoping I get cleared to run…I am ready to get back into my workout routine.
