Playlist fun + Lola + adulting & organizing!

My Mom just sent me this picture from Eleanor’s birthday party. I’m probably teaching her all about the most important things – good beer and dogs. Jake and I got her that little dog that is next to her. It makes noise and there’s a string so she can pull it behind her. I told my sister that next year, Eleanor is getting a drum set. ; )

We had a super busy morning at work Tuesday, so by the time lunch rolled around, I was starving and ready for a break. My assistant principal was making a Chinese food run, so she saved the day and brought me some crab rangoon. They were incredible.

During lunch, I worked on my playlist for my race this weekend. I have a 15k Saturday morning, so I needed a new playlist to listen to while I run. Here’s what I’ve got so far!

This. With two more days until spring break….I feel this way toward a few kiddos at school…

I took Lola through the car wash to get her all cleaned up after our off-roaring adventure. She looks awesome. I really love the wheels and tires!

This is how you know you are an adult – being super excited about getting some new things to help you stay organized. Our pots and pans cabinet has been driving me crazy because I hate digging around for certain pots when I’m cooking. I got a pot organizers and it is amazing. It’s crazy how one small thing can make such a huge difference.

This is the pot holder we have! It was super easy to assemble and I love that you can use it in different ways. You can either have it standing up, like we do, or it can be lying on its side. So awesome.

I am not finished organizing this, a couple other organizational things I ordered haven’t come in yet, but I wanted a way to organize our cans a little bit better. We have a huge pantry, which I am super thankful for, but because the cabinets are so deep, it can be hard to find things. I cannot wait to show you everything once I have it finished, but I really like this can organizer.

Here is the can organizer I got. There were a few more steps in assembly, but it was still pretty easy to put together.

I will share the other things once I get them and have a chance to use them!

Jake ran right after work yesterday and then fired up the grill because it was so beautiful outside. He grilled BBQ chicken for us and it was outstanding. I am so happy that grilling weather is back. Jake is a grill master and I cannot wait to eat delicious things over the next few months.

My dandelion tea obsession is back. I used to have a cup of dandelion tea every night, but then I started drinking wine more often…I am back on my dandelion tea kick, but don’t worry, my love of wine isn’t going anywhere. ; )

How awesome are these Trail Sisters Springfield shirts?! I am obsessed. I also got a hat with TS Springfield on it, I just need to take a picture of it. Jake and I headed out for a run with the girls this morning. We looked at the weather and it was supposed to be raining, but it hadn’t started yet, so we took our chances. We got caught in a downpour. Neither of us mind the rain, but it was lightning like crazy, so we were not comfortable running outside with the girls. We headed back toward the house and I hopped on the treadmill to finish up my miles.

Lulu was soaked. She seemed to be having the time of her life running in the rain, so I don’t think she was too upset.

It’s supposed to be a nasty, rainy day, so I think that calls for cheetah print and red shoes.

Happy Wednesday, friends!
