We finally have an update on my surgery – next Friday! I’m so ready to get this over with. We get home from Florida next Thursday afternoon. I’ll go straight to my pre-op appointment and then I’m scheduled for surgery Friday afternoon. I hope the recovery is quick. I sent an email to our IVF doctor yesterday because I am pretty upset and frustrated with how they have handled this whole issue. My doctor sent a nice apology and asked to schedule a time for us to discuss everything, so I’m hopeful they’ll do something to help us feel comfortable moving forward. I hate sending messages like that, and I don’t know that I’ve done it before, but it needed to happen and I feel better now that she knows how we’ve been feeling. Thank you for the kind words and prayers!
Coop has been picking out his outfits, or in this case, his accessories. Ha!

Just my teen toddler watching Paw Patrol, his new favorite show. The other day, Coop brought the remote to me and started signing ‘more’. We watch between 30-60 minutes of a show a day, so his show of choice lately has been Paw Patrol. I secretly love it, too. It makes me emotional watching them all help other people as a group. I don’t know why!
The best way to cook zucchini – ghee (or butter), coconut aminos, Everything But The Bagel seasoning, and garlic. It’s. So. Delicious.
Dinner Monday was night turkey burgers, zucchini, and Jake’s mama’s green bean casserole. YUM.
I think Coop had a weird allergy flare-up when he woke up Tuesday morning because his poor eye was so red and puffy. I thought for a second he had pink eye, but after I got him to stop messing with it, it went away in about 30 minutes. Poor kid.
Jake’s Father’s Day present finally arrived! I cannot stop ordering things with Coop’s face on them. I can’t wait for Jake to wear these at the pool.
I’ve been in a major running funk lately. I don’t feel like running at all. And I don’t really know if I’m supposed to run with this Hydrosalpinx (fluid filled fallopian tube). I know I feel better when I at least do something, so I’ve been trying to walk a little bit. I also have been trying to keep up with my strength workouts, too. I know I won’t feel this blah forever, but it kind of feels that way sometimes.
The cutest stroller napper you ever did see.
I was doing some planks in Coop’s playpen and he kept crawling onto my back. It cracked me up. And it made the planks WAY more challenging.
We played on the swing until Jake got home from work.
Dinner was leftover turkey burgers, with zucchini, more green bean casserole, and beef jowl, which is incredible!
We did a little Jeepin’ after dinner last night. Jake showed me how they do a burnout in the Jeep…these two…
Kombucha and front porch rocking once little man went to bed last night.
Cheesy eggs with all the hot sauce in a tortilla is my breakfast go-to right now. So. Good.
Coop enjoying his Paw Patrol episode before nap time this morning. This kid…
Happy Wednesday, friends!
