At my post op on Friday, I got cleared to run and lift! I was SO excited. I also got cleared to start our mock transfer stuff again. Not as excited about that, just because the meds make me feel so blah, but I AM ready to finish up with IVF no matter the outcome. I messaged our clinic to let them know we could start again. They always have us start on birth control first, which I hate, but I keep telling myself we are so close to being finished.
We spent the day Saturday at Big Cedar with my family to celebrate my parents’ 40th wedding anniversary! My aunt and uncle came down from Iowa to celebrate with us, too. It was such a fun day!

Here they are on their wedding day 40 years ago. I love this picture.
Happy anniversary, you two! We love you!!
We spent most of the day at the pool. Coop is in his golf era and will try to ‘golf’ with anything. He gets pretty creative!
We had a slow Sunday morning that consisted of pancakes and Bluey. Yes, please!
Coop’s new favorite thing is dumping milk on the floor so he can lick it up. Which is why I have to mop so often…
This kid keeps me laughing all day long. He’s the perfect mix of ornery and sweet.
He switched to his own straw hat…notice the golf ball in his hand. He’s never without one of his golf clubs or a golf ball.
Guess who ran for the first time in about four weeks??? ME! I felt so good! I knocked out 30 minutes and only stopped to walk twice. I didn’t head out until about 2pm on Sunday and it was HOT, but man, it sure felt good to run again.
We still don’t have any information about when our mock might be or when I’ll start hormones again, but I’m back on birth control and all the supplements. I take everything at night because they make me super nauseated. Taking them right before bed seems to help a lot!
Happy Monday, friends!
