I had a major bittersweet moment on Wednesday. I graduated from both our IVF clinic in St. Louis and our clinic here in town. We’ve been working with our IVF clinic since June of 2020 and the clinic here in town has been doing my monitoring appointments just about as long. It all still feels surreal. I told Jake the other day that I don’t think it has really hit me that we’re going to have another baby. Is that normal with your second? No clue. It all just still feels like a dream. I said goodbye (and good riddance!) to Wanda – the trans vaginal probe for ultrasounds. that definitely felt good!

I had been craving bran muffins, so I doubled the recipe. These are almost gone…I have no shame. I just can’t stop eating them.

Little man and I got ready to run some errands Thursday morning. I put some yoga pants on and a maternity shirt I had saved from when I was pregnant with Coop. I’m glad I saved everything – I have so much to choose from. A lot of my maternity clothes were gifted to me, so I am excited to pass them along to another mama.

This goofball loves to sit on his potty any chance he gets. We haven’t started potty training yet, but maybe he’s getting close to being ready? No clue.

Thursday evening, I put on real clothes for the first time in weeks. HA! It was fun to get dressed up. I had our monthly girls’ night out, which was the BEST time!

We are definitely officially bumping. It’s crazy how much faster I have shown this time around. I’m also eating so much all the time because of my nausea, so I’m sure that’s adding to it. Ha!

We had the best time together! I sure do love the holidays and getting to spend time with people I love!

Happy Friday, friends!
