Wellllllll, I got all my pictures uploaded Monday morning, but then the day got away from me and I didn’t get my post up, soooo, here’s Monday and Wednesday – ha! Friday of last week, we took some cousin pictures and then baked and decorated sugar cookies. It was the best kind of fun chaos.

This kid was a big fan of both the dough and the baked cookies. I kept having to grab raw dough out of his hands.

When Jake got home from work Friday, we headed out to pick out our Christmas tree!

The whole time Jake was carrying it to the car, Coop kept saying, “good job, Dada!” It was precious.

All I wanted for dinner Friday was Andy’s, so that’s what I got. It was delicious.

Saturday morning, I headed downtown to volunteer for the Santa run. It was so fun!

Sunday morning, we decorated our tree. It’s so special watching Coop experience everything this year. He loves Santa and snowmen.

I found the cutest duck after bath time.

I have not been meal prepping at all lately because nothing sounds good, but I finally threw some things together for Jake. His lunches this week are rice, veggies, and chicken thighs.

And breakfast for him – burritos. I still need to put all the fillings into tortillas, but I might even eat one or two of these…they smelled delicious. I made a massive batch so I could freeze some.

We headed to Jake’s parents’ house for Sunday dinner. Coop was super into the Chiefs game.

Sometimes being a work from home mom looks like this! Coop wasn’t feeling great Monday, so while he took a long nap, I worked on grading. I managed to get all my finals graded and even submitted final grades, so I am officially on break! Unfortunately, we have a big audit with the state this year, so I’ll be working on that over break, but it is nice to only have that to focus on.

We took some fun Christmas pictures in front of our tree. I am about halfway done with wrapping presents. I want to get all the wrapping finished this week. I love wrapping presents so much. It’s relaxing.

Coop and I were reading yesterday afternoon and I was having the hardest time keeping my eyes open. I finally gave up and made a pallet on Coop’s floor. I was hoping he’d let me rest a little bit and maybe even nap. I woke up TWO HOURS later. Ha! I couldn’t believe it.

I think he had gotten out every single toy in his room, but nothing was broken and no one was hurt, so I’m calling it a success!

We headed out for dinner last night to celebrate Jake’s Grandma’s birthday. We had the best time! Coop’s ‘cheese’ face for pictures always makes me laugh.

The coolest, sweetest dude out there.

Happy Wednesday, friends!
