Painting masterpieces + checking on brother + big boy undies

We were having a bit of a rough morning Wednesday, so some dinosaur painting was in order. Coop requested T-Rex pictures, so we printed out three for him to paint.

A masterpiece.

After some painting, it was time for a bath. Our day completely turned around after painting and a bath. Sometimes ya just need to switch things up! We usually head outside when we need a change, but the weather wasn’t great, so painting and a bath helped!

Lunch and puzzles with my favorite toddler.

I checked on baby brother Wednesday afternoon. He’s doing great! We have an ultrasound in two weeks to check on his growth, and unless we do a 3D scan like we did with Coop, it’ll be our last scan until he’s here. I can’t believe it! Less than 10 weeks.

I still can’t have anything off the grill, but I made pork chops in the oven and they were delicious. Chicken is the only meat that still doesn’t sound good right now, but I’m just happy I’ve been able to eat something other than veggies, cheese, and bread. HA!

The coolest dude just wants to be like his Daddy – bruised shins and all!

Coop loves picking out his hat each morning. It cracks me up. He’s also very particular about how it sits on his head. We can’t put it on for him anymore, he has to do it. He’s so independent.

We headed to the store to pick out some big boy underwear since we’re starting potty training this weekend.

He’s so excited about these. Of course they all have dinosaurs on them.

We stopped by the see Jake and the guys at a job, then Coop immediately passed out on the drive home. His legs made me laugh. He always sits like this in his car seat.

If you like nachos, make them with the Hint of Lime tortilla chips. So. Good.

I baked banana bread in one of my Grandma Carlene’s baking dishes. It made me smile. I sure do miss her. I know she would have loved Cooper so very much.

Jake has been working outside every night after work, so Coop and I have been solo for dinner. Sometimes ya just need to watch a movie while you eat dinner. Cooper requested Madagascar last night.

We are ready to tackle potty training this weekend! We are starting Saturday morning. Coop is SO ready, so we’re jumping in. Wish us luck!

Happy Friday, friends!
