Our bathroom is getting so close! The glass was installed in the shower this week. Now to finish the plumbing, put shelving in the closet, hang stuff on the walls, get the mirror up, and put the trim and doors in. We still have lots to do, but the major things are pretty much finished.

I got the first coat of paint on Coop’s dresser for his big boy room. It’s always fun to be done with the prepping stage of painting and get to see the color. His room has a lot of gray and sage green, so I think this will be a good contrast to his curtains. I didn’t want the paint to match perfectly. I’ll share pictures once it’s all done! My dad is building him the coolest bookshelf, which I can’t wait to see. I know Coop will use it for YEARS. Our little bookworm.
Someone has been rocking his big boy underwear this week! Of course they have dinosaurs on them.
I finished painting Coop’s dresser yesterday in-between meetings! Now to clean the drawers really well and get some contact paper in them, then get handles put back on. Looking back, I should’ve filled the original handle holes and put knobs on, but I didn’t, so we’re going to make it work. It’s been really hard to find new pulls that fit the original holes because they’re super short, but I think I found some that will work.
Coop and I shared this deliciousness for dinner last night. I’m glad he shares my love of nachos.
This kid is up and ready to tackle the day every morning at 6am on the dot. Always.
Jake is working a temporary shift right now that has him working on the weekends, which is hard, but we’re all thankful it’s not permanent! He works some kind of wonky hours, which really messes with his sleep. I couldn’t do it! I need a solid 8 hours most nights, which I don’t think is possible with a toddler and being pregnant, HA! One day I’ll get to sleep again…right?
Happy Friday, friends!
