Breakfast this week is extra delicious. English muffin sandwich, yogurt with collagen, and a meatless spicy veggie patty. YUM.
Lu sat like this while I worked on the couch. The more pillows she has, the happier she is.
I spent most of the day working on my computer. I took a lunch break and had some egg/chickpea salad on a piece of toasted sourdough, chickpea pasta Thai salad, and chips.
Jake did a gravel ride in the morning, so Rhea was extra excited when he got home. She hugged him like this for a long time.
Jake and I headed out for a little date night at Metro last night.
I LOVE the bread and dipping sauce at Metro. It is my favorite. So dang delicious.
Jake and I shared the calamari and a pasta dish, which I forgot to take a picture of. Everything was so good. As always.
Since Jake has Tuesdays and Wednesdays off, sometimes we treat those days like our weekend. I am SO thankful I can make my own schedule. We figured out that if I was still working my previous full-time job as a learning coach, I would miss seeing Jake every day during the week except Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I used to get home from work around 3:30 and he now leaves for work at 3:30. We would hate that. While sometimes it takes a little extra planning with Jake working nights, we really do like this new schedule he has.
Back home and back to cuddling this furry monster.
