This week has been bonkers + birthday surprise + a little date night!

Wow, this week has been crazy! I feel like there has just constantly been something going on. No complaints, just feeling a little crazed. I came home to this beautiful bouquet from Dawn (my birth mom) and her man, Mitch. Thank you both! They made my day. My birthday is the 17th (tomorrow), so I am excited that I get to enjoy these beauties all week!

Jake and I snuck in a quick little date night last night. We shared the meatball sub and a Caesar salad with shrimp. Everything was delicious.

I have a couple of meetings today, then we may spend some time at the house working. We had a contractor over yesterday to give us bids on the bathrooms. We would like to get those completely finished before we move in in November/December. Our house has two and a half baths, but the hallway bathroom is the half bath and it’s tiny, so we are going to knock out a wall to make  it bigger. I think it’ll make a huge difference! I can’t wait to see it all finished. I will share the whole process here, too!
