23 weeks + a yummy dinner + AR conference

I headed to an OB check-up Wednesday afternoon. We are 23 weeks! I know I say this each week, but I can’t believe we’re already this far. Things are just really flying by. At the same time, they also feel so slow…I cannot wait to meet this baby boy. Also, peanut M&Ms are my favorite thing right now.

Coop is still going to swim once a week, but we have had a few make-up lessons, so we’ve been going twice a week. I think he wishes we could go seven days a week – he loves swim so much. We got there a little early and were able to watch the other kids swim in the lessons before ours. Coop was VERY jealous of his instructor swimming with a little girl before it was his turn.

This is one way to enjoy your breakfast…lounging on the floor. He cracks me up.

We had a fun play date yesterday morning with my sister, niece, Jayme, and her boys. The wild boys loved riding on the carousel.

This belly has really popped the last few weeks. I feel like I started showing SO early this time around, which I’ve heard is fairly common with subsequent pregnancies.

Sometimes you just need BOTH a fork and spoon…to use at the exact same time. And a random leaf you found outside. Between our dogs and this kid, there are always leaves and sticks in my house.

I haven’t been in the mood to cook very often lately, so when the mood strikes, I get excited. I had some leftover potatoes from when I made roast this week, so I made smashed potatoes. You boil the potatoes, mash them on a cookie sheet, brush with melted butter, garlic, salt, and oregano, then top with cheese. Bake at 450 for 24 minutes. These are SO delicious. And easy!

Fish sticks sounded so good, so that’s what we had with the potatoes and some Caesar salad. This dinner hit the spot!

Selfies by Coop. I just want to eat his little cheeks.

I am in AR today for a conference, and will get home about dinner time. I already can’t wait to get home to my boys!

Happy Friday, friends!
