Pool time + freezer prep + weekend fun!

I had my first NST with baby brother this week. I accidentally had sweet tea with lunch, so he was going bonkers the entire time. They made me stay hooked up for a long time to make sure his heart rate would settle down. It did! But lesson learned. Two and half weeks until we get to hold him!

Wednesday afternoon, we took Coop to the pool for the first time this summer. He had a blast. Also, does anything beat a poolside dinner? I say no.

I definitely don’t have the energy to take Coop to the pool on my own. Jake was running all over the place with him.

Thursday morning snuggles – just a boy and his pup.

I think we’ll have our bathroom finished this week! Can’t wait to share the finished pictures. Someone is very sneaky about how he helps…we can’t leave the ladder out or he’ll be at the very top. He’s fast!

I tackled my first round of freezer meals on Thursday.

I froze two taco bakes and two pasta bakes.

Also tried a new recipe – French Toast casserole. It smelled amazing! These are all in the deep freeze. I will make a massive batch of breakfast burritos and a few more meals in the next week.

After cooking most of the day, I didn’t feel like cooking for dinner. Thank you to Sam’s for the cheese manicotti and brussels. Delicious. And I used some leftover bread from the French Toast casserole to make some garlic bread.

Summer in a picture. Scraped knees (he wiped out at the pool), a bucket hat, no pants, & and popsicle, all before 10am. Heck yes!

We have maternity pictures and my baby shower this weekend – I’m so excited for both! Thankful baby brother seems to be staying put for now.

Happy Friday, friends!
