Short & sweet – all the feels + family time!

Breakfast bowl again! I love having all of these veggies cooked and ready to throw into my breakfast in the AMs.

If I could wear this tank everyday, I totally would. Coffee is a big part of my life.

I was hungry after my bike ride at the Y, so I snacked on a little almond butter before I headed to barre at Physique.

Spotify made a playlist with my favorite songs from 2017. I am loving it! This came on during my drive and it made me smile. I love Elle King. Some girlfriends and I went to Austin, TX for spring break (we were all teachers) a few years ago and she was playing there. We tried SO hard to get tickets, but her show was sold out. I think she’s be fun to see in concert.

Barre was wonderful, as always. There’s just something about Physique Fitness that draws me to it. The girls there are wonderful, the energy is motivating, and the classes are a blast. I used to go 5-6 times a week and I have really missed it. It’s SO nice to have time to go back right now.

Snack #2 on the way to the library after barre!

I spent some time working at the library. I realized I won’t be able to get as much done as I was wanting until I get my interviews finished, but that’s okay. I am going to focus on getting more data analyzed now, so I won’t have as much to do later on. Anyone else thrown off when they see 2018? I had to write the date yesterday and it took me awhile to figure out what to write.

I want to start reading more for fun. I read all the time, but it’s research articles and things like that. I snagged this at the library yesterday. I also posted on Facebook about good books and got a TON of ideas – if you have any books you love, please share! I’d love to check them out.

Lunch was leftover broccoli and green bean spaghetti. It was delicious.

Some midweek meal prep. I chopped up more of the same veggies we have been eating for breakfast and baked them. I topped these with the same stuff – olive oil and the seasonings below!

While I was at the library, drinking out of my 4 By 4 tumbler, I really wished I had beer in it instead of water…a girl can dream, right? Also, I think my glasses are helping! I haven’t had much of a headache at all and I’ve been on my computer a ton. Fingers crossed.

I did some more computer work at home after I finished more prepping, then Jake’s Grandma came over for dinner! I sipped on a glass of wine while we ate.
Picture

I made a Paleo Chicken Marsala recipe and we had salad and rolls (not me). The Chicken Marsala was good, but the sauce didn’t get as thick as I wanted.

My Momma brought over these new pajama pants for me yesterday. I have been needing new flannel bottoms but hadn’t been able to find ones that I liked. She found these AND they were on sale. Win-win!

Christmas puppy jammies!

I had another cryosauna session this morning, I’ll share more about that tomorrow! I have a bunch of stuff to get done day today, so I’m sipping coffee and mentally preparing myself. ; ) I have two interviews, and they’re the longer ones, so they’ll take awhile. I also need to take my car to the shop to have something checked on it, so who know how long that will take. I can’t believe it’s already Thursday! So crazy.
Happy Friday Eve, friends!

So I love romance novels but a number of those books are not what one might consider kosher so I will refrain from sharing them unless you say its okay.
I am also so freaking glad that its thursday… it has been a long week. Ready for a weekend. Any fun plans for the weekend? I have a long run and some studying for an insurance designation exam. EEP!

      Lindsay,
I love romance novels! Feel free to share! 🙂
We actually don’t have big plans this weekend and I’m kind of excited about it! We are going to a new wine house with some friends on Saturday and I have a Go Girl Run social run Sunday afternoon, but that’s it. While I miss my long runs on the weekend like CRAZY, I’m trying to enjoy this down time…it’s hard! Good luck studying! Can’t wait to hear about how your run goes!
      Have a great weekend!
