Weekend Wrap-up!

This weekend was a good one! I got lots of relaxing in, managed to clean our house, and spent some time on a little trail. Friday’s lunch was another cheese roll-up, jello, and chips. I had a meeting Friday morning, so I went to the gym in the afternoon. It was definitely harder to go later in the day since that’s when I normally start to feel crummy, but I’m glad I got it in.

I miss my bike, but at least I can still rock my Sunshine Bike Shop trucker.

Dinner Friday was the last of my masterpiece – cold noodles, Olive Garden’s Italian dressing, and parmesan cheese.

Saturday morning started with a Trail Sisters run! I watched the group take off to get some miles in, then Rhea and I started a little hike.

She was SO happy to be outside and on some trail.

I ordered some new clothes since mine are already tighter. I’m not normally a skirt fan, but I found THIS one from Senita Athletics (one of my favorite brands) and it is AMAZING. It is so comfortable. I got a medium, and I really think I’ll be able to wear it through my whole pregnancy. The material is suuuuuper stretchy, so I have a lot of room to grow.

It has shorts underneath, too. With pockets!

Rhea and I hiked a mile and a half. I started to get tired and hungry, so we called it quits and camped out under a tree with snacks while we waited for the group to finish their run.

These gals got in a solid run before it got too crazy hot!

After my hike, I took a nap. I had a dream about Qdoba, so I the second I woke up, that’s where I headed.

I also had some Oreos. YUM. I didn’t feel great most of Saturday, so the rest of the day was spent on the couch watching Everybody Loves Raymond.

Sunday morning started with breakfast in bed.

Iced coffee, which is mostly chocolate almond milk and whipped cream, OJ, a protein shake, and a breakfast sandwich. I’m back to wanting breakfast sandwiches – so good.

Piper sent me this text of Eleanor practicing to be a big cousin. So precious.

My Dad made me a loaf of beer bread, which is my favorite.

This snack was SO good. Beer bread and strawberry Kefir yogurt.

A lot of my afternoons/evenings look like this. I usually feel my best in the mornings, so I try to be as productive as possible during that time. Once I start to feel crummy, I rest. It’s definitely not what I’m used to – I like to go, go, go, but I am trying to enjoy slowing down and not pushing it. It helps that I feel so crummy most days that I don’t WANT to push it. HA!

Happy Monday, friends!
