Jake has been in KC this week for a safety conference and the upcoming lineman rodeo this weekend. We miss him and are ready to be with him! We will head to KC later to meet him. Coop and I had a pizza date night and watched a movie Wednesday night. It was a blast! We watched The Good Dinosaur and Coop LOVED it. He watched the entire thing.

His eyes never left the screen.

Our clinic told me I could continue running this time around if I wanted to! I was so excited. I’m not doing anything strenuous, but it definitely feels good to be able to continue to run easily.

Thank goodness for the stroller nap. I think the stroller is Coop’s favorite place to nap.

I was craving orange chicken last night, but instead of grabbing it somewhere, I just made some. I don’t follow a recipe or anything, but it’s pretty delicious. First, I cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces, coat it with cornstarch, and fry it a little bit in olive oil. Once I do that, I put it all in the crockpot with a little orange juice, coconut aminos, garlic, and black pepper. That’s it! So easy. We ate ours over sticky rice. I forgot to make the broccoli I had to go with this…that would’ve made it even better.

Coop walked out of our laundry room with wet hair last night and was giggling. I followed him back in there to see why his hair was wet and found out he was sticking his head in the dog’s water bowl and drinking…hahahah! This kid. Never a dull moment!

I feel okay in terms of our transfer. I’m having crazy hot flashes, and I’m bloated and nauseated, but all of that is normal with the meds I’m taking. Ready for blood test number one on Tuesday! The numbers need to double on Thursday, so our clinic usually just shares the results with us after the second blood test.
We are ready to see Jake! And watch all the lineman do their thing at the rodeo. This will be Coop’s second rodeo, but the first time we he will get to watch Jake perform. I have a feeling he’s gonna love it.
Happy Friday, friends!
