Today feels like Monday to me. Anyone else? Long weekends always throw me off. Rewinding to the real Monday – we spent most of the day outside. Coop has eaten all of the popsicles in our house, so I need to get some more before there’s a meltdown, ha!
Our weekend was full of fun stuff and a little relaxing. Coop and I had a fun day at home on Friday. If you need us this summer, we’ll be here. The second we finish breakfast, we head outside until nap time. Jake’s sweet cousin gave us this little plastic pool and Cooper looooves it.
Coop requested a popsicle while we played outside waiting on dinner. I can’t turn down a popsicle, so we enjoyed dessert before dinner. 10/10 recommend.
Coop’s favorite day of the week is definitely Monday. We don’t have swim next week since it’s a holiday and I know he’s going to be so bummed.

I went to the doctor this morning and have a dang sinus infection. They said there’s not a ton I can take at this point in pregnancy, but I got started on some antibiotics, so hopefully those kick in soon. Until then, I’ll be soaking up all the naps with little man.
Friday was a long car day, but I enjoyed being on campus. I spent about eight hours in the car since I went down and back the same day, but thankfully, it’s a nice drive. We had an all-day retreat, and at the end, my sweet colleagues surprised me with the cutest clothes for baby…
Coop asked to go look for dinosaurs in our neighborhood Wednesday night, so we hopped in Jake’s truck and drove around for about 30 minutes. It was the best time. Jake and I both said we would always remember this night. Coop had SO much fun!
