A treadmill review + a new show + excited!

With colder temperatures getting ready to hit, it’s nice to have a way to keep up with your fitness in the comfort of your own home or garage. Check out this great informative piece comparing 9 treadmills. Click HERE to read the whole article. Out of the 9 treadmills that were researched, the following 4 were found to stand out above the rest based on speed and incline, continuous horsepower, belt surface area, ease of transport, features and fitness programming, and actual experience running on each. The 4 best treadmills, according to this article, are: ProForm 505 CST (for walkers), Horizon T9 (for training), ProForm Pro 2000 (for runners), and NordicTrack c 2950 (best entertainment features). The whole article is pretty interesting, so if you have a second, check it out!

Anyone have a treadmill they love? Any input to add?

Now for Tuesday happenings. Check out my sweet 15k/25k Challenge zip-up. I LOVE it. It’s SO comfy and warm. I have a feeling I will be wearing this A LOT this winter…

I went to a noon yoga class yesterday and it was JUST what my sore body needed after this weekend. I took it really easy and just focused on stretching. We did a lot of hip stretches, which was perfect – it’s like the class was made just for me. I came home and did a little arm workout and some abs, but nothing too crazy. I’m still a little sore from my races over the weekend. Also, I forgot I had these Altra running tights…I just found them in with all my winter running stuff. They’re awesome. I like the mesh on the back, too.

After my little workout, I was STARVING, so I heated up some of the burrito bowl stuff I prepped on Monday. It was delicious. I ended up scooping it up with tortilla chips, which made it even better. Chips are my weakness. Especially tortilla chips. Yesterday marked one week from the worst flu I’ve ever had. I took a moment to reflect and be very, very thankful for my health. And to do a little dance because I missed Sriracha when I was sick.

I love pens. I especially love using different colored pens when I write in my planner. BUT, when I make my to-do lists, it’s always with a black pen. Is that weird? Probably.

This is the best white-out in the world. I have zero patience (I know, I know…you can’t tell), so I can’t wait for the wet white-out to dry. This white-out tape is the bomb.

Check out this awesome deal from Bondi Band right now. You can go to THIS link or go to Bondiband.com (you can access is on my homepage, too) and search “blanket”. They’re on sale AND you can get an additional 10% off with my code – Chelsea4Bondi. I’ve been wanting one of these, so now that they’re on sale, I don’t have an excuse. They weigh between 10 and 12 pounds, based on the size you get.

I wanted more of that blueberry goat cheese, so I spread it on Sriracha turkey slices…it was amazing. This was the perfect snack. Plus a little honey mustard and Sriracha on the side.

We had plans to go get dinner last night at a restaurant that was supporting local trail in our area. Jake worked almost two hours late, but when he got off work, he swung by the house and picked me up, then we headed to dinner!

We shared a salad and pasta dish. This salad was delicious!

We ventured out to try something new, so we got a tortellini dish. It was super good! We had wanted a portobello ravioli dish, but they were out of it – we will have to go back and try that next time.

Then it was home to get comfy and relax! We started watching a new Netflix show called Bloodline. It’s really good so far! I busted out my fleece PJs. They’re so warm. I can’t sleep in them because they get so hot, but I love to wear them around to just lounge in.

Our very different opinions for what “comfy” means. Real pants? Heck no.

I also sipped on some dandelion tea – I love having hot tea at night. It’s so soothing.

This little girl would not stop crying and trying to sit on my lap. I thought she REALLY loved me last night. Turns out, she only wanted her own blanket to lay on. Eye-roll.

I had planned on going for a short run this morning, but it was pouring when my alarm went off. Typically, I like running in the rain, but I saw that it’s supposed to be 60 here later this afternoon, so I’m going to wait and run then! I had my egg and oatmeal concoction, plus half a banana on top. I haven’t been able to finish this whole thing lately. Probably because I’m not running, which means my appetite isn’t like normal. I like my oatmeal really thick, too, so I think that makes it seem super filling.

I go to the chiropractor later, then I have some errands to run. I am just about finished with my portion of the presentation I’m giving in two weeks, so I’m wanting to be completely finished with that today. I am SO excited for my run. I’m almost giddy about it. I have absolutely zero sore areas now, so I think yoga definitely helped yesterday! I also got a new pair of running shoes, so I’m going to break them in today, too! We have dinner plans with my birth mom, Dawn, and her boyfriend, Mitch, tonight – we cannot wait to see them! We ALWAYS have so much fun with them.
Does anyone have a treadmill they love?
Who else “lounges” in jeans? (It was hard to type those two words in one sentence!) ; )
Happy Wednesday!

That’s so funny — I am with you! I never lounge in jeans, in fact, I try to wear them as often as possible! My husband always lounges in jeans or real pants … I don’t get it!

I am not a huge fan of sweat pants or fleece pants because I get too hot. BUT the moment I get home I shower and change out of my jeans and put on old running shorts (my pjs) and hang out on the couch.
Second I think I am going to have to send you a list of dipping sauce brands that you are going to have to try.
