Getting ready to meet Dr. Baker, the professor I was presenting with, for breakfast! The view outside our hotel room was incredible.

We had the buffet at the hotel. It was delicious! I was a little nervous about presenting, so I didn’t have much of an appetite.

Our hotel was gorgeous! I loved the palm trees inside.

Our presentation went really well! I was glad to get it finished early in the day so I could enjoy the rest of my time at the conference.

This is what my Mom did while I attended the conference. I sat outside with her for a little bit in-between the sessions I was attending. I was a little jealous!

We didn’t eat lunch until almost 4 o’clock, so we were starving. We left the conference around 3 and headed to my grandparents’ house. We stopped at Tijuana Flats for a quick lunch. They have the BEST chips I’ve ever had – they had tons of black pepper on them. I was in love.

I had this delicious taco salad, too.

So. Many. Hot. Sauces.

My favorite!

We got to my grandparents’ house and just relaxed and chatted for a couple of hours. Then we headed out for dinner. We went to Craft Street, which is an amazing little restaurant. The atmosphere is so cool.

Celebratory flight! I tried a bunch of local beers and they were delicious.

Here’s their bar. Isn’t is super cute?

We all shared cornbread and two flat breads. Everything was delicious!

Im off to run now! My grandparents’ WiFi wasn’t working, so I did this post on my phone – I hope it’s okay! We are going to the pool later – I can’t wait!
Happy Thursday! It’s Friday Eve!
