I

Are you ready for this? I had a burrito bowl for breakfast yesterday. Can you believe it?! ; ) But in all seriousness, it’s just SO good.

Here’s a sweet deal from Bondi Band! You can also used Chelsea4Bondi to get 10% off.

Just drinking all the water. I try to drink 3-4 Nalgenes every day. If i don’t drink enough, I tend to get a headache.

I bought bananas the other day and totally forgot about them. I was pumped when I remembered today. I obviously had to have a banana and PB as a morning snack.

You guys. This. This made my day! And yes, it is as delicious as you would think. All the heart eyes.

I used up all our Epsom Salt. And since I’ve made a miraculous recovery, I stocked up, just in case that’s what healed me.  That body oil was an impulse buy. It smelled good.

I know I told you I was taking a whole week off, but I have had ZERO pain for two whole days. I mean zero. Like, my legs feel better than they have in 6-8 months. I’m ecstatic. I’m trying not to get ahead of myself and I will be careful when I’m running, but I got the okay from my coach to run Saturday! Eek! He just said I had to go slow. He’s smart, so I’m going to listen. Also, Jake might kill me if I don’t…I get real mopey when I can’t run. So, I’m telling you all of this so you won’t be mad when I tell you I ran and didn’t take a whole week off. I feel 100% again! I’d appreciate any positive vibes. I’m really hoping Saturday goes well.

I had to try out my new Epsom Salts and body oil!

No privacy. I forgot to shut the door…

I’m kind of surprised Lu didn’t jump into the tub with me.

Then it was lunch time. Leftover bison burger, some chicken salad from Homemade. Delivered., sweet potato tortilla chips, and the rest of the quinoa veggie concoction from Target. Delicious.
Picture
Then I HAD to try the Sriracha popcorn. Holy cow. It’s good!
Picture

Thennnn I needed a black bean brownie. Turns out giving up sugar is harder than I thought…I’ll get there! It’s going to be a slow transition.

I had an interview yesterday afternoon and then one in the evening. Lu was not happy with the amount of attention she was getting. She’s been more needy than Aspen, lately! She sat outside my office and cried the entire time I was conducting the second interview. Jake said he couldn’t get her to leave the closed door alone. As soon as I finished and opened it, she just stood in the open doorway with her tail wagging and stared at me. Like, hi, did you know I was out here?

Dinner time! I threw some cauliflower rice into a soup pan and then added the minestrone soup from Homemade. Delivered. I let it all simmer together with some garlic, balsamic vinegar, and Cholula. It smelled SO good.

Then we topped our soup with avocado and chowed down!

It obviously needed some Sriracha.

After dinner I had my second interview, then Jake and I relaxed while watching Bloodline. Also, I’m ashamed to admit how close that popcorn bag is to being empty…VERY close.

Lu made herself a little blanket fort last night and Aspen just wanted someone to play with her.

I have two more interviews today, then I need to spend about 3 hours transcribing everything. I also have some other work I need to get done, so it’s going to be a busy day! We have Jake’s work Christmas party tonight, so that’s always a good time! I get to run TOMORROW!! We also have our marriage counseling session tomorrow. I think those are our only set plans. I’ll need to do some work this weekend, but nothing too crazy! I’m SO excited that Christmas is getting closer. One of my all-time favorite traditions with my family is having monkey bread and opening stockings on Christmas morning. We are doing that this year and I’ve been excited about it for weeks! We are almost finished buying presents, so that feels good, too. I wanted to be completely finished this week, but we just ran out of time. I know the stores are going to be crazy next week…shoot, they’ve already been crazy for weeks. Jake might have to go shopping without me. Those huge crowds of people bumping into you drive me bonkers. But we will see! I never like to miss out on a shopping trip!
I hope your weekend is wonderful!
