Breakfast yesterday was another delicious breakfast burrito. I forgot to get a sweet potato at the store so we haven’t been having the sweet potato hash browns in these and I miss it!

I did a bunch of computer work yesterday morning, then for one of my breaks, I finished wrapping presents! Sorry this picture is so dark. I like to sit in the dark and look at the tree. Anyone else do this??

It feels good to have this finished, but I’m kind of sad it’s over. I love wrapping presents.

Lunch was leftover fajita stuff from last Saturday. I officially finished off all of our leftovers this week. I don’t like having to-go containers in the fridge. I usually send leftovers to work with Jake, but these were both smaller portions, so I ate them at home. Plus, this was better heated up than cold! Jake has to eat all of his lunches cold, so I try to send food that will still be enjoyable cold. If you have any ideas, I’d love to hear them! I feel like I send the same things a lot…

These homemade tortillas were incredible. Seriously. The best tortilla I’ve ever had. This was all from Cantina Laredo.

After lunch, I cleaned the house and did a little bit more computer work. Then it was time for tea and an Epsom salt bath. I get really antsy when doing these soaks, so I take my computer and watch The Office. It helps! I just don’t like sitting in the bathtub for 15 minutes.

Then I was hungry again, so I snacked on some salami, turkey, and peanut butter. Random, but so good!

After my snack, I played frisbee outside with the girls for a little bit. They have destroyed this frisbee. Time for a new one!

Jake’s Nanny, Wynona, came over for dinner last night! We are going to try and have all our Grandmas over for dinner more often. It was a blast! We also got to use our new pint and wine glasses, which I was excited about. One major bummer though – these are hand wash only (which is fine, that’s all we do anyway) BUT the spokes on the wheels are already starting to come off! We have only been using them for a few weeks. Ugh. So, we will see how long they last.

We made homemade pizza on our favorite crust (THESE). You can find them at Mama Jeans, too. I’m sure other stores carry them, as well! They’re delicious. We topped the crust with pesto, mushrooms, onion, grape tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, salami, goat cheese, and olives on half (the only food I don’t like!). It turned out super yummy! I also threw together my favorite Sweet Kale salad. It was so much fun!

Close-up of the pizza. Not the prettiest, but it was SO good.

We also had cookies! I was proud of myself. I only had one and sent the rest to work with Jake this morning. I LOVE cookies and I leave them kind of doughey, so I want to eat all of them. I didn’t even have a bite of the dough! That’s unheard of.

I really love Christmas time. I want to leave our tree up all year. Is that weird? I think it makes everything feel so cozy.

I have a funeral to go to this afternoon. One of my close childhood friends, Adrienne, lost her Dad last week. Jay, her Dad, was such an amazing guy. If you know them or would just like to support them at this time, please send positive vibes and prayers their way. You can find the obituary HERE. They are such an incredibly strong family and they have lots of people who love them. My life was definitely blessed from knowing Jay and I know I am not the only person who feels that
way.
way.
I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!
