Short & sweet!

Ladies in the area – I’m a Go Girl Run ambassador and am hosting another Go Girl social run (weather permitting) THIS Sunday at 3 PM! I’ll post more information on Facebook (Chelsea K. Dorman) and Instagram (@chelseakdorman), but we will meet at Galloway Grill, which is located at 4211 S. Lone Pine. As long as the weather cooperates, we will meet-up! These are always fun and you can choose the distance you’d like to run!

I got this new watch face for my Garmin and I love it! It was created by Nuun – what a cool idea!

I did all the computer work yesterday, which is why I don’t have many pictures. Lunch was chicken, quinoa, and a salad. It was delicious.

I also sipped on this kombucha, which hit the spot! It’s definitely a little spicy. I don’t think I could drink a ton of it, but I like it in little amounts.

I had an interview in the early evening, which I did from bed – it’s nice to get cozy before getting to chat with someone. I snacked on this turkey jerky before the interview – it was Cilantro Lime and it was delicious!

We went to an event at Springfield Brew Co last night and we love their food, but since my batch of curry made SO much, we decided to eat at home before the event. So we had more chickpea curry (I posted the recipe and nutritional information in yesterday’s post) for dinner. It’s even better as leftover! We will eat the rest Thursday evening, so I’ll let you know if it is still tasting good after 4 days.

Then it was off to Brew Co to listen to a panel of amazing athletes – Jake’s Dad, John, was part of the panel, so we were excited to listen to him talk about his training. As we were walking out of the house, we realized we were coordinating. Jake LOVED it, can’t you tell? ; )

Here’s part of the panel! I failed to get other pictures because I got caught up in listening to them!

I was thinking about our Colorado trip last summer, so I started going through some pictures. How gorgeous are these views? These are from when I summited four 14’ers in one day! It was crazy. SO much fun, but SO hard. You can read about it HERE.

I have another ALL day date with my computer…remind me again why I wanted to get this degree? I kid, I kid. Kind of. I also need to do some work on an article that I’m working on with a research professor at Mizzou. This is the same one I presented on in Florida back in November. We need to finish it and get it published! I have two interviews later today, then I am meeting with my coach to make a new plan since I dropped from the full to the half in Nashville this April (definitely still bittersweet). After that, I think we are grabbing dinner with Jake’s Mom!
Happy Wednesday! Also, how can it be the last day of January?! Holy cow.
