I enjoyed breakfast in bed yesterday. This lap desk might just be my most favorite thing. Ever. I had two egg muffins and a waffle with PB and syrup.
This popped up on my Instagram and made me laugh, but also want to cry. ALL the emotions!
Lunch was leftover spaghetti squash casserole, Nut Thins (some of my favorite crackers), and a cutie.
I had this as a snack…I’m not sure I like the salmon filet. It tastes pretty fishy. I love everything else by Epic, but I think this one is my least favorite.
The interview I was supposed to have yesterday got rescheduled for next week, so I worked on my computer ALL day. I got a TON of work finished, so that felt good! I met two of my girlfriends, Katie and Kallie, at 4 By 4 for a beer when they got off work. We are planning a little getaway to Hermann, MO to go to some wineries, so I’m super pumped for that!

After we finished planning our Hermann trip, we started planning my bachelorette party! Eek! I’m so excited!
Jake showed up to 4 By 4 to meet Scottie and Brandi, so when Katie and Kallie left, I sat with them for a little bit before heading home to change into my comfy jammies and eat dinner. More chickpea curry – I put the rest into the freezer because we had eaten this for 3 nights this week and I couldn’t eat it anymore…BUT, it was still super good!
After I ate, the girls and I relaxed while we waited for Jake to get home…Lu made it hard to watch Netflix…I just started watching Friends again! I love it.
Then Jake got home and more cuddling happened. We were both pretty worn out yesterday.
Then it was up early to get some time in on the elliptical! I’m trying to only run 4 days a week, so I took yesterday off and then just did an easy 40-minutes on the elliptical this morning. To make sure I kept it easy, I took a book with me and read the whole time! I’m guilty of listening to music and pushing it a little too hard…
I rocked a Go Girl shirt during my workout in honor of the Go Girl fun run I’m hosting on Sunday! If you’re in the area, come join us! We will meet at Galloway Grill (4211 S. Lone Pine) at 3PM! You can run any distance you’d like – I’ll have miles 1, 2, and 3 marked. Hope to see you there!
Then it was home to chow down! I was starving toward the end of my workout. I don’t think I ate enough last night. I didn’t eat dinner until after 7, so I just wasn’t all that hungry. I had more egg muffins and a waffle, plus some fruit this morning.
Don’t forget about the Go Girl fun run (you don’t have to be doing any of the Go Girl races to join!) this Sunday, at 3PM!
I am going to HealthTracks later today, so I’m looking forward to that! I also want to get some more written in the 4th chapter of my dissertation and analyze some data. I have a final interview with my 10th participant today, so that’s exciting! I have two more final interviews Monday, and then one person to conduct all three interviews on – then I’m finished with data collection, I think!

Any races/long runs?
We don’t have anything too crazy this weekend! Jake has two long runs, 24 on Saturday and 14 on Sunday. I’m going to run 4 or 5 tomorrow and then 3 with the Go Girl group on Sunday! That’s about it!
