I’m kind of obsessed with these Superhero Muffins right now. They’re just SO good. They’re from Run Fast. Eat Slow. It’s a cookbook FULL of awesome foods and recipes for athletes.
Ready to send! I kind of loved doing this. It was fun!
I mean, it’s worth a shot, right? Surely it’ll work! I wonder how much of this I can drink…
Mmm. I hadn’t had yogurt in a long time. I had forgotten how good it was!
Does this make me old? I love organizing my supplements for the week…
I think this was one of my favorite jerky sticks – it was beef and pork and had just the right amount of spice.
I had another smoothie for lunch. I was going to go to the Y and then Health Tracks, so I added some rolled oats to my smoothie for some extra energy. It was delicious.
I knocked out a bunch of work yesterday using my new scheduling system that I shared in my post yesterday. It definitely makes my days FLY by, but I have almost gotten caught up to where I’d like to be, so I’m loving it.
I had a rice cake and my BCAAs then headed to the Y for a little time on the elliptical!
How much pink is too much pink? Also, the fact that I could have my windows down yesterday made me SO happy.
I stopped the elliptical when I got to 30 minutes. Only after that did I realize how close I was to 3 miles. It’s still driving me crazy that I didn’t go all the way to 3…and that calorie count is ridiculously inaccurate.
After Health Tracks, we rushed home to change, then we met Jake’s family at Nakato for dinner to celebrate Penny’s (his Momma) birthday! I totally spaced on getting a picture of all of us. We had a blast and Jake shared one of my favorite beers with me.
I really love their seafood sauce – it makes me super bloated, but it’s just SO good.
I got sushi and it was amazing. I hadn’t had sushi in WAY too long. Mmm.
This is my life every day, minus the shaking. I drink a TON of coffee, but as long as I don’t drink caffeine too close to bed time, it doesn’t really affect me…unless I don’t have any. Then I’m not very nice. If Jake gets up before me, he will always bring me coffee before talking to me. Smart man.
The girls were WILD when we got home from dinner. I think they wore themselves out because they passed out shortly after playing and fighting over toys. Lu kept her bone close to her…
Someone was VERY perky this morning and wanting to play. I wish I had her energy at 4:30 AM. She would drop her toy close to me, and if I didn’t kick it for her, she would pick it up, growl at me, and drop it again. I think she gets her sassy attitude from her DAD.
The queen of head tilts.
Kayla and I decided to meet up for our runs this AM late last night – it had been awhile since I used my headlamp! It was SO windy this morning. We couldn’t even hear each other talking when we ran a certain direction. It was nuts!
It was a little rainy during my run this AM. So long straight hair!
We needed more bacon, so I went to the store after my run to get some. While there, I decided we needed more Sriracha and some flowers. Most random grocery store run ever. I’m sure the cashier thought I was a weirdo. Also, that bacon was on sale, so I HAD to stock up – I put two packages in the freezer. I see BLTs in on the menu next week!
Ladies, these pants are AMAZING. I had a gift card from Jake’s Nanny (Thank you, Wynona!), and I needed some new black crops. Holy cow. These are definitely my new favorite. You can find there HERE. I ran in them this morning and they were PERFECT. I didn’t have to pull them up one time. I got a small and they fit perfectly. They even have two little pockets on the side! I’m always looking for good capris/tights and these have me hooked!
I will always love Relient K. This came on my Spotify this morning. It takes me back to high school, which is when I was OBSESSED with them. For my 16th birthday, they were in town and putting on a concert I was going to. My Mom and sister went to get one of my CDs signed by them to surprise me. They started talking to the lead singer, Matt Thiessen, about how much I loved them and how it was my birthday and he literally wrote my name and my favorite song (Getting Into You) on his HAND. During the middle of the concert, he wished me a happy birthday and then sang that song! I sobbed. A lot. It was seriously the best moment. <3
Happy Friday Eve!!
