All the snacks + productivity + last run in MO!

Can’t stop, won’t stop with this breakfast.

I was putting laundry away yesterday and had two pieces left to put in the closet. I walked into our room and saw this. Aspen was touching my pants and Lu was on my shirt. These two are a mess.

All that space and this is what they do.

I worked all morning and got quite a bit finished! I took a break for coffee and zucchini bread.

Then I worked until lunch time. This lunch is seriously one of my favorites. It was super simple to make. The chicken is topped with Trader Joe’s Everything but the Bagel seasoning and the veggies were roasted in butter, garlic powder, and black pepper. I top the veggies with nutritional yeast after I heat them up. I skipped Sriracha on my lunch yesterday because I wanted to go on a bike ride later in the day and didn’t want my acid reflux flaring up again.

I was so stuffed I couldn’t finish the last piece of chicken. I saved it and ate it after my bike ride!

The best feeling when editing? Making the pages you’ve edited into a big trash pile. There’s something oddly rewarding about it! I got all my edits finished except for 2 pages. I’ll finish the 2 pages today, they just require me to rewrite a section and my brain wasn’t working like I wanted yesterday.

Snack #2! More kombucha, too.

It was so pretty yesterday, I HAD to get outside. I hopped on my bike and got a 10-miler in on the paved trail!

Then it was back home and into the tub for an Epsom salt soak and this bath bomb!

Snack #3 – one of the delicious oranges from Lucky’s. They’re so juicy!

After work, Jake did a little trail maintenance and rode his bike, so I made dinner for myself and put his in the fridge. We had BBQ chicken, beet noddles, and yam noodles. It was super good.

After dinner, I started working on my next month of workouts. I want to focus on lifting more this summer before I start my marathon training. I made a vodka water drink (with Mio) to sip on while I worked.

I love planning workouts like this. As of right now, I’m going to lift 2-3 times a week, run 4 times, ride 2 times, and go to yoga at least once. We will see how it works out! I usually organize things with different colored pens, but I wrote everything in pencil, just in case I need to change anything.

I got these jogger pajama pants on Amazon a few weeks ago and I’m obsessed with them. They are SO comfortable.

Candles and fresh flowers are my weaknesses.

I slept in this morning, but I headed out for my LAST run in Missouri when Jake left for work. I guess I was feeling the color purple today…Even my hat has purple on it. I’ll go to yoga tomorrow but won’t run, so my next run will be a short shake-out in Nashville!!

I’m going to finish those 2 pages today, then I need to run some errands and pack a little more. I cleaned the whole house yesterday (minus vacuuming), so I’m going to do that today, too. I love coming home from vacation to a clean house. Anyone else feel that way?

We leave tomorrow (Thursday) evening and I am PUMPED. I haven’t been to Nashville since I was 8 or so, so I’m super excited to see everything. I’m also SO excited for our races! I’ll post on Insta, so follow me there if you want to see our adventures! I’d love to have you “tag” along! : ) (chelseakdorman)

Also, if there’s something in Nashville that we HAVE to see, please let me know!

Happy Wednesday!

I went to Nashville in November for an NFL game. We were pressed for time and didn’t get to do a lot of site seeing, is it bad that I remember the food I had tho?? 😉 If you go to the Hard Rock Cafe you HAVE to try the new(ish) cauliflower burger! It is uuuhhhh-mazing! It even has roasted zucchini and squash on it. Soooo good! With sweet potato fries to! Good luck and have fun at your race!
