I had my bachelorette party this weekend!! It was PERFECT. I loved getting to spend the weekend with my girlfriends. We had lots of laughs, ate all the best food, and drank ALL of the adult beverages. I’m so thankful I get to call these people my friends!
I got some cuddles in with my girls before I left for the weekend Friday morning!

The girls were meeting at my house at noon to leave for Kansas City, so I had a quick lunch before they came over.

I had to leave Jake a little note.

I was so excited for a weekend for some of my favorite ladies! Also, super thankful for a hair dresser who will straighten my hair for me.

I needed a snack before we left…

As we were leaving my house, we found this tiny turtle in the front yard. It was barely bigger than a quarter!

Our road trip to KC was super fun – Kayla drove us up in her new Four Runner, so that was a blast. I needed a car snack, too. I love these Fig Bars.

We got to our AirBnB in KC, changed, and headed out for the night! My friend, Sam, couldn’t go with us, so I wore a shirt she had given me, just for good measure.

We grabbed an Uber from our house and headed to McCoy’s (I think) to grab a drink before our dinner reservations.

After McCoy’s, we went to Port Fonda for dinner. They had the most delicious sangria flights.

I had their salmon for dinner and it was super good, too.

After dinner, we went to a bar called Throw Back. It was my favorite! They played all kinds of 80’s and 90’s music. I was in heaven. We danced the entire time we were there – I think my feet are still a little sore.

The whole weekend was themed around a fiesta since it was over the weekend of Cinco de Mayo – I loved it!

Jake worked the Mutt March Saturday morning – he had a blast!

Saturday morning, we got up and headed out for brunch. We went to Gram and Dun on the Plaza. We ended up sitting outside and it got HOT.

I had a Pastrami Eggs Benedict that was pretty good.

After brunch, we did a little shopping, then grabbed drinks at O’Dowd’s.

Katie and Kallie brought fanny packs for everyone and Katey brought these super cute pineapple straws – I loved both!! <3

Then we went back to our adorable house and tried to get a group picture…this is the best we could do, HA! We sat out on the balcony and played drinking games until we left for dinner. It was the perfect day!

We went to Char Bar for dinner and it was so much fun. We had the best weather all weekend long. At Char Bar, we all got to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine.

We ordered a bunch of different appetizers. The hush puppies were my favorite – they were incredible. The muffins were also amazing. I didn’t really like the pickle, so I gave mine away (Thanks, Thompson!).

I got the Burnt Heaven. Holy cow. It was GOOD.

So, fun fact about me – my body gets very angry when I eat/drink things that I don’t normally eat/drink. My whole body swells up, but my legs are the worst, especially from my knees down. I couldn’t wear the heels I wanted to wear out Saturday night because my feet were so swollen they wouldn’t fit in them. It’s awful. Here’s a gross picture of the swelling starting…it got worse as the night went on.

After dinner, we hit up one more bar before heading back to our house. We went to the Saloon and listened to some live music.

Sunday morning, for brunch, we went to Beer Kitchen. It was delicious, as always.

After brunch, we shopped a little bit more – I got to see one of the stores that Jake and I rep, so I was excited about that. Then we hit the road and headed home!

We all got hungry about an hour and a half from home, so we stopped for snacks. This Lunchable was the bomb.

We got home and Jake, Kayla, and I rode our bikes to get dinner at The Pitch.

I took some pictures while riding my bike and didn’t fall – HUGE improvement!

It was a beautiful night to ride around our little village. We ended up getting about 11 miles in.

A year ago when I got SUPER burnt on a bike ride with Jake…

I had the BEST weekend. I’m sad it’s over. Now to get caught up on everything…I’m off to meal prep, knock out laundry, and maybe work on some edits. Jake and I are going to work on our flower bed tonight, so I’ll post some pictures of that!
Happy Monday, friends!
