Deodorant drama + a recipe for you to try + more wedding pictures!

Same old breakfast, but I love it! Can you tell I’m a creature of habit? I have been craving French toast…maybe I’ll make some this weekend!

After breakfast, I headed to barre at Physique Fitness. I love this place. The energy and the love I feel when I walk in always makes me excited for a workout. If you haven’t been there, seriously go try a class. They have ALL kinds of different classes, so you can find something that you love. I started going a little over two years ago! I don’t have a full-time membership right now, but I’m hoping once I’m working full-time again, I can get one! I used to go to a class just about every day.

I think I shared the other day that I quit using antiperspirant deodorant.  Well, I’ve tried two kinds and they both burned me pretty badly. It hurt to apply them and then if I started sweating, I felt like my armpits were on FIRE. I did some research and couldn’t find any women’s deodorant that wasn’t antiperspirant, which really surprised me. I don’t want anything all-natural, that’s what was burning me so badly. Soooo, if I smell like a man, this is why!

New day, same rice cake.

I was deleting pictures off of my phone and came across ALL of these from the Thomas Rhett concert. I will NEVER delete them. How many Thomas Rhett pictures is too many?? Gosh I love him. I touched his shoulder and Jake got it on video. Best. Video. Ever.

Lunch was chicken, a cowboy griller, and veggies.

For dinner, we tried a new recipe. I made a tofu vegetable curry – recipe HERE. I followed the recipe, but used this instead of the curry it called for.

I hadn’t used my crockpot in forever. I forgot how much I loved it.

Ugh. I hate this book. So much.

I love tofu, but I haven’t cooked with it all that much. This recipe called for you to press the tofu! For those who have cooked with tofu a lot, is that something you do all the time? I set an alarm to remind myself to do it, haha!

Jake had to work late, so the girls and I worked from bed – we have been kind of lazy, work-wise, this week. I’ve worked from bed TWO days. I don’t hate it and I actually am getting work done! I just feel lazy. Lulu gets really cuddly when she wants something…usually for me to feed her.

I also had a snack while I waited for Jake to get home.

Dinner turned out pretty good!! I made Basmati rice to go with the curry.

The girls were sad it was raining outside. I was supposed to get a bike ride in yesterday, but it didn’t happen. I ended up working later than I thought and then it started storming.

After dinner, we watched a movie. I HIGHLY recommend it!! It’s called Set It Up and it’s awesome. We both loved it. I’m not usually a movie person – I don’t like to sit that long without doing something. I judge movies based on how many times I get up. I only got up ONCE during this movie and that was because the girls needed to go outside. Otherwise, I would’ve sat for the WHOLE thing. That’s huge! The movie is on Netflix, so if you have Netflix, check it out! It’s cute.

Up this morning to get a 7-miler in with Jake. Lu needed some cuddles before we left.

More computer work today! I’m hoping to finish up edits for Chapter 3, then I only have Chapter 5 left! I think I’ll have small edits on each chapter after this initial round, but that should be it! Fingers crossed.
Happy Friday Eve, friends!

I only use Native deodorant. It’s not an anti-perspirant and the only thing that keeps me from smelling. It’s all natural.

Yes, you should be pressing tofu for pretty much every recipe. I place a large metal colander in a large mixing bowl, put the tofu in the colander, put a small plate on top of the tofu, and then place a 15 lb. kettlebell on top! Just be careful to make sure it’s balanced, otherwise it might fall off the counter. With that much weight, the tofu is pressed and well-drained in a short amount of time.
