Lu always wants to sit next to me while I work. Sometimes I let her, but if I don’t, she will try to jump up into my lap or cry until I pull a chair over for her. Once she has a chair, she is perfectly content and usually just falls asleep. I always laugh when she lays like this, with her front paws tucked underneath her.

I made smoothies for breakfast after our runs, then I needed to knock a couple of errands off my To-Do list, so I took my breakfast on the road with me.

I love this song. His voice is incredible.

I worked on the computer for most of the morning. I took a little break to enjoy some cherries with my coffee.

I got this super comfy tank on Amazon a few weeks ago. I love it.

A lot of people have been asking me about my eyelashes lately, so I thought I’d share about them. I have extensions! I hardly ever wear any eye make-up, which I love. I get my lashes filled about every two weeks and this is totally my guilty pleasure. I don’t get my hair done, other than a trim once a year or so, so I feel okay about my lashes. I used to always color my hair, which really added up! My lash lady, Jo Ann, is AMAZING – I go to Acacia Spa, which is the best place on the planet. If you have other questions, let me know! I’m an open book.

I had lunch plans with my Momma and our friends, June and Adrienne, so we headed to Nearly Famous! I really wanted the quiche (it’s incredible), but sometimes they sell out of it early because it’s just THAT good, so I ended up trying something new and it was DELICIOUS. I had half the veggie club (it’s normally a triple decker, so the half order came out just like a normal sandwich. I was confused when our waitress explained that, but once it came out, it made sense. I don’t know why I needed to tell you that, but now you know…) I also had their amazing salad and chips. It was a super good lunch, but I always love Nearly Famous, so that wasn’t a surprise.

Mmm. Look at all of that goodness.

We try to have these Mother/Daughter dates whenever Adrienne is home from Chicago. We always have so much fun getting caught up.

Then it was home to get a little weight lifting and stretching in! It’s kind of hard to tell, but I had forgotten that I just filled up my water bottle. I literally dumped it ALL over myself. Even with the splash guard. It went up my nose and everything. HA!

I have been trying to keep up with the stretches I got from my physical therapist, so I made sure to do those yesterday.

Welp, tofu hotdogs aren’t great. Ya live and ya learn!

We had dinner plans with Dawn, my birthmom, and her boyfriend, Mitch. We went over to Dawn’s house for dinner, so I threw together a salad to take. I made this dressing, plus added some of the juice from a container of nectarines. It was pretty yummy!

Salad with fruit on it is extra delicious when it’s hot outside.

Mitch cooked a feast!! He made Mongolian Beef and fried rice. I didn’t have any of the beef, but it smelled incredible! The fried rice was outstanding…I had two huge servings!

Everything was SO good.

Happy 4th of July, everyone!!! What’re your plans for the day? I am working most of the day, but we will be with friends later tonight! I hope you have a fantastic day and get to spend it doing what you love!

I’m off to knock out some work then get a workout in!
Happy Wednesday!
