A TRX workout + good friends + prayers, please!

Another day, another smoothie for breakfast.

I did computer work most of the morning, then took a break for lunch. I had leftovers from Monday night – salmon, asparagus, and Nut Thins.

My hair is always getting caught. I braid it when I run to help with that, but even that isn’t helping anymore…it’s worse when it’s straight because it’s a little longer than when it’s curly. The worst is when it gets caught in my armpit while I’m running. UGH.

I sat down and got ready to work again after lunch and right as I was pulling my lap desk and laptop over, Lu jumped into my lap and curled up. She definitely gets her way when she wants it. I’ve been making Aspen a little bed on the floor because it seems like it hurts her when she tries to jump on our bed. We still haven’t heard back about her biopsies, but I’m worried about her. Fingers crossed we hear soon.

I made up for my lack of productivity on Monday! I finished up the things I wanted to do Monday AND got everything on my to-do list for Tuesday finished, too. That felt good! I worked out in the afternoon, so after I knocked out some work, I headed out to the garage. This is my last pile of stuff to go through. My parents just cleaned out one of their storage units, so I need to tackle this project – maybe it’ll happen this weekend. We will see…

I was so excited to use my new TRX straps! My straps can either be hung permanently from the ceiling, or I can use them with any closed door! We aren’t sure where we want to put them yet, so I used them on the door of our garage. They worked great!

For dinner, we had tilapia topped with crab meat. It was super good! I’ve been making extra of our dinners so I can have it the day after for lunch. Win-win.

We met the Planks for drinks at 4 by 4 last night after dinner. Kindal and I matched! Cut-offs, t-shirts, sandals, Kavu bags, and ponytails. Great minds think alike!

I woke up when my alarm went off at 4 and decided I didn’t want to run in the dark, so I went back to bed until a little after 6. I headed out for a run a little after 7 and was super happy about the cool temperatures!

I got 7 miles in. I did a workout I did two weeks ago and it was MUCH better this time around – I love that feeling!

We got a call back this morning from our vet about Aspen’s biopsies. We didn’t get great news, but they’re running one more test to make sure. We’d appreciate any prayers and/or positive thoughts while we wait to find out. For right now, we are loving on our girl and praying for good news! <3 You can see some of her bumps in this picture. Poor baby.

I’ll be switching between being on the computer all day and cuddling Aspen. I hate seeing her not feeling well. I’ve already cried a few times this morning – I just want her to feel better and get back to normal. I miss our playful baby. Thank you for being there for us – we love you guys!
