My Mom makes me laugh + something new for you!

I found a bunch of avocados I had forgotten about. I was SO thankful they hadn’t all gone bad. Isn’t that the worst? I feel like avocados stay ripe for about 7 seconds.
This cracks me up every time I see it. My Mom is hilarious. Sorry for the poor picture quality, this is a picture of my computer screen. Those who know my Mom know this is an accurate glimpse into our lives. Ha!
Our tutoring spot yesterday. It was so nice to be outside!
Lunch was an open-faced Turkey sandwich with beets and crackers. Mmm.
I made some brownie cookies for the guys at Jake’s office. I added M&M’s to them. The batter was amazing.
Ooooh, this seems very real. Eye-roll.
We took a 20 minute nap, then did a HIIT workout before Jake got home. I can’t take naps longer than that or I get super cranky. I probably shouldn’t take naps at all, but the one yesterday helped me feel refreshed. I usually wake up from them more tired than when I laid down.
Our favorite tortillas are at Price Cutter! Jake loves when I turn the things he says around on him. And I love when he uses Justin Timberlake GIFs.
We rode our bikes to a neighborhood watch meeting yesterday evening. We love that our neighborhood has the program.
Guys, these are incredible. I haven’t tried them just as a tortilla yet, but as a pizza crust, they’re the bomb. I cooked these with pizza toppings at 400 for 10 minutes. That’s it! They were crunchy and study enough that I could hold each pizza and bite into it.
Our pizzas had salami, chicken, artichoke hearts, and spinach. Cashew cheese for me and Colby Jack for Jake. I cooked the chicken before I put it on the pizza.
I drizzled balsamic vinegar and Sriracha on the top and we chowed down! Oh, and it’s not that I don’t trust Jake to use a wine glass with a stem. I just have broken the 3 others that matched mine, so I’m savoring this one until I inevitably break it, too. Big wine glasses are my favorite. I have broken them over the years, but I just recently broke the third after we moved. I was not happy. Soooo, I only have one left.
YUM.
After dinner, we took the girls on the walk and got to chat with some of our neighbors. We love the area we moved to so much! We loved living in Galloway, too, so we are glad we aren’t too far away.
Happy Wednesday, friends!
