My first kit + energy balls for you + weekend plans!

If I don’t feed them the second I get up, this is what I see until I do. They have zero chill when it comes to breakfast.
I got my first cycling kit! I am so excited. I’ve been wearing Jake’s old chamois, so we decided it was time for me to get some new gear. I can’t wait to rep my favorite bike shop. This set is SO comfortable. I hope I can get a ride in this weekend to try them out.
Oh yeah, I couldn’t pass these up – pineapple socks!
I headed to the Y yesterday and spent some time on the elliptical and then lifted. I think the leg press machine is one of my favorites. Have I mentioned how excited I am to run again? Because I am! One. More. Week. 
I ran to the grocery store to grab a few things and decided to get the salad bar for lunch. I ate this entire thing…
I made a bunch of energy balls to send with Jake while he races this weekend. They are super tasty.
I followed this recipe, but left out the Rice Krispies and just put another cup of oats into the mixture.
I had zero appetite and a headache, but knew skipping a meal would make my head hurt worse, so I made a quick dinner of burgers and sweet potato fries. Bacon makes everything better, right?
Jake scooted away from me on the couch to get a pillow, so I pretended to cry. The second I started pretend crying, Lu jumped into my lap and tried to comfort me. This girl. I sure love her.
I have plans to do nothing this weekend and I am so excited about it. I’d love to get another long ride in, but that’s about it. I’m just going to relax! I’m watching my friend, Alex’s, dogs, so Lulu and Rhea are going to love that!
