It is my beautiful baby sister’s birthday today! I hope you have the best day, Pipes! You’re the best little sister in the world. Here are some funny throwbacks to embarrass her (and myself) a little…
Piper was the chunkiest baby. I loved it.
This is my brother-in-law, Tyler. He’s pretty cool, too.
Thank you for making me an Aunt! I sure do love this little gal.
Not pretty, but you can’t go wrong with breakfast burritos.
I spent the day working on the computer – I took a quick lunch break in the afternoon. I used yesterday as a rest day because my body was just tired. I woke up feeling better today, so I’m ready for a TRX workout later.
This girl is never far from my side. She follows me everywhere, even to the bathroom. Where she falls asleep on my foot…I was in there for maybe 30 seconds. HA!
I’ve been doing some different challenges this month. Trail Sisters Springfield is doing a plank challenge (join HERE if you’d like to take part) and then Jake and a friend are doing 100 push-ups and sit-ups every day, so I joined them in that challenge, too. I feel like I’m getting stronger, but man, the planks and the push-ups are always hard. Rhea was helping with cuddles.
Jake got home from work and immediately fell asleep on the couch. He works so hard.
Since it’s still Jake’s birthday week, I whipped up some fun, healthy-ish margaritas. They had raspberries and blueberries, honey, ice, Bubly, tequila, lime juice, and Truvia. They were delicious!
For dinner, we had brussels and bacon cooked in the AirFryer and shrimp cooked with ghee and Frank’s hot sauce. I overlooked the brussels and bacon a little, but the shrimp was amazing.
Rhea always chews her bone on top of the bottom section of our coffee table. It’s weird.
This sleepy little angel girl always steals my blankets.
I am off to have breakfast with my family to celebrate my sister’s birthday! Then tonight, we have plans with friends to celebrate Jake’s a little more.
Guys, I get to run tomorrow. I have all the feelings about it. I’ve been excited/nervous about to all week. I have been praying my foot is healed and that I won’t have any pain. I’m going to start very slowly – I’ll do a run/walk 2 miles. As badly as I want to go out and just run 6, I know that’s not smart. I will be crushed if I’m not healed. I appreciate any positive vibes you can send my way…I NEED running. I miss it. This is the longest break I’ve ever taken. It’s been 6-weeks, with one 3 mile run 4 weeks ago. That’s it. Here goes nothing!
Happy Friday, friends!
