Day 2 of our conference – oatmeal, omelet, and bacon. YUM.
My heart. I miss my little family.
I was sitting in a morning session and just NEEDED to get outside, so I took a little 10 minute walk in the parking lot. It’s hard to sit and listen all day…it made me feel bad for our students….that’s what they do all day, every day.
Lunch was a bbq pulled pork sandwich, pasta salad, and a delicious brownie.
Our hotel has a complimentary happy hour with snacks every night, so that’s been fun to hit up before we go out for dinner.
They had this delicious Oreo dip. Holy. Yum.
I had told everyone about one of my favorite places in Bentonville, Oven & Tap, so they wanted to go there for dinner last night. I was so excited. We got the Fried Mozz to start. And they have my favorite drink – a garden mule. It’s so delicious!
Pizza with jalapeños and Ranch is the bomb. Hands-down.
This meme cracked me up. This is my life.
Pre-run foam rolling and coffee sipping in the dark.
I did not feel like running today. It was day 3/3 on the treadmill and I was ready to be back outside. Soooo, to help get some miles in, I did 6 mile progression run – 9:22, 9:05, 8:49, 8:34, 8:20, 8:00. Playing around with speed and/or the incline really helps make treadmill miles go by more quickly.
We are finished at 11:30 today! I cannot wait to be home with Jake and our girls. I’ve loved spending time with my co-workers, but I am ready to be home.
Happy Friday Eve, friends!

I am so glad that you found such a great job opportunity and that it is now allowing you to travel too! I personally prefer to be in the gym right now BUT it is also starting to get super chilly up north in Minnesota so I wouldn’t be outside either way! Did you happen to have other fitness equipment options besides the treadmill the three days you were there?? I am just thinking that if you have to travel in the future you might want to try different fitness equipment (maybe the spin bike?)??
