Yesterday was another busy day. The second I walked into school, I was told we were short on subs, so I went to cover an eighth grade class. I am starting to get to know the students a little bit better, so it was fun to be back in the classroom. I covered the first and second period classes, then a sub showed up. I ate breakfast and lunch at school in-between working on various things. My sweet tooth kicked in as soon as I finished breakfast, so I had some dark chocolate covered pretzels. I don’t have a picture of them because I inhaled them. Whoops.
I am in desperate need of a haircut. Well, at least a trim. I made an appointment for the week after Thanksgiving. I am glad my hair is finally longer after chopping it off last year (HERE), but it definitely needs a little bit of love.
This graphic cracked me up. Sometimes I get so frustrated with my phone’s auto corrections because they seem to make zero sense. Thinking about it this way helps. ; )
I went to my Grandma’s after school for a little bit. It was just my Mom, my Grandma, and me. My Grandma slept the whole time. I think she had a better day yesterday in that she wasn’t feeling so miserable and hurting, but it’s just awful watching her stuck in that bed all day. I feel kind of drained this week. Not that I am complaining, I have absolutely nothing to complain about compared to what my sweet Grandma is going through. A bunch of my family will be here this weekend, so it will be nice to see them. I will go back over to my Grandma’s sometime today. When I got home last night, I just didn’t feel like doing anything, so Jake picked up dinner for us from The Pitch. We shared wings and a burger and fries. It hit the spot.
Brandi, the photographer who captured our engagement pictures, our wedding, and basically anything else special that has happened in our lives, did a super fun seasonal mini-shoot last weekend. She owns BG Studios Photography and we HIGHLY recommend her. Obviously I am a huge fan of pictures. I take hundreds every week. So, when we want a special occasion documented, you know, without my billion seflies ; ), we want the best! Brandi is always the first person we call.
I left these pictures bigger, so you could really see them. Jake and I spend a lot of time laughing at each other and Brandi always does such an incredible job capturing our true personalities. I love it.

I will spend time with my family today after school, then I have a long run Saturday morning. Other than that, I’m not making any plans. I want to be able to spend time with my family. I hope everyone has a relaxing weekend and is able to recharge from the week.
