I think I’m going to make this breakfast casserole again for next week. That is how much I have liked having it. Are you sick of me talking about it yet? ; )
I spent the morning at school testing kiddos. Our sweet librarian got these new mats for them to stand on. They are called anti-fatigue mats and I think the students like them.
A student teased me and called me a monkey, but I couldn’t figure out why until I looked down at my hand and saw I was holding a banana. She thought it was hilarious that it took me a minute to figure it out. Middle schoolers are so weird. I guess that’s nicer than other things they could probably call me. HA!
I added some turkey pepperoni to my chicken gyro for lunch and it was a wonderful decision. I also had half a bag of popcorn.
We had Jake’s Grandma’s birthday dinner last night, so we ran a couple of errands and then headed over to his Aunt Michelle’s house. We were both out of our favorite drinks, so we stocked up. His and hers.
We had so much fun celebrating Rosalee last night. We had pizza and salad, which hit the spot, and we also had cake and ice cream for dessert.
My cutie sister-in-law.

Jake’s boss told him that he got three days off for my Grandmother passing away, but Jake told me he didn’t need any days. His boss insisted he at least take Friday (today) off, so we could get out of town sooner since we are driving to Iowa. I checked to make sure it would be OK if I also took Friday off, because I was planning on working today, and everyone told me to take the day and get out of town sooner. So, that is what we are going to do! We are packing up and getting ready to leave. I literally slept for 12 hours last night. I couldn’t believe it when I got up this morning. I guess I must have needed some sleep!
We are supposed to get some crummy weather, so stay safe out there, everyone!
Happy Friday, friends!
