I used to hate making smoothies for us for breakfast when we were both on the go because they take a little bit of prep time in the morning no matter what. But I’ve got to say, ever since I started portioning out all of the dry ingredients when I meal prep and we can just grab that container and add it to the blender with the rest of the wet ingredients, it saves so much time! I don’t know why it took me so many years of meal prepping to figure that one out.
But really, can you have too much cheetah? My answer is no. Friendly reminder – if you would like a Loopy Case, use the code “trailsandtruckers” for 10% off. You can shop the cases HERE! Treat yo self on Valentine’s Day!
Yesterday was the best days. One of my besties from high school, Cassie, owns Ozark Mtn Flower Truck, which is the cutest Volkswagen flower truck here in town. You can check out her website HERE. She had the brilliant idea to send out dried bouquets for Galentine’s day. As if that wasn’t amazing enough, the bouquet deliveries were accompanied by puppies! This precious pup and a gorgeous dried bouquet showed up at school yesterday. It made my day. Cassie, you are the best. Cass sent grams to everyone in our running group. <3
how beautiful is this? I am obsessed with it.
Everyone got some puppy love! I am glad you cannot hear the annoying sound I was making to get the puppy to look at me in this picture. Sorry, ladies!
I am so sad that yesterday was my last day of this lunch. This veggie pasta and meatball mixture has been so delicious.
Jake is pretty convinced that I had influenza B. I am still feeling pretty crummy and my throat is super sore. I am doing everything I can to try and boost my immunity. I am drinking all of the tea and all of the Nuun tablets at school. I’m so thankful we have a three-day weekend!
I know you already know that I love cheetah, but I really love this new silicone ring from Groove. I added the pink one on top.
After school, it was straight home to change into sweats and crawl into bed. I grabbed my electric blanket and turned it up to high. I was so dang worn out. I am so ready to be back to normal. At least I had this cutie nurse taking care of me.
I was super thankful that I had prepped enough of this food to have dinner for tonight. We had the rest of our leftover honey mustard chicken and sweet potatoes. It was pretty delicious.
I have no clue what we are going to do tonight. We usually don’t go out on Valentine’s Day since everything is so crazy. We might go grab a beer, but I think a lot depends on how I feel after school. Fingers crossed I feel better. I’m not sure what our weekend looks like…I’d like to get a longish run in tomorrow, so hopefully I can rest up enough for that.
Happy Valentine’s Day, friends!
