Missing my Grandma + runs with Rhea + the biggest closet mistake…

As frustrating as it can be to manually transfer hundreds of pictures from one blog platform to another, I am loving being able to go through all of my memories. One reason I love blogging is that my posts have become a very public journal and I really do enjoy going back and reading them. I have found a couple of pictures I had forgotten about, like this one from the girls’ brunch before our wedding. My Grandma was so excited and I will cherish those memories forever. I’m missing her big today.

Jake’s Momma got me this furry jacket for Christmas and I love it so much. Our office at school is always freezing, so I make sure to have layers with me every day. This jacket is a staple.

I was so excited to run in the sunshine yesterday since I slept in and didn’t run in the dark like I normally do. I take my Koala Clip on almost every run and I love that you can’t even tell it is there. Your phone zips into it and there is a magnetic strip that holds it in place between your shoulder blades using your sports bra as support. I have yet to find a sports bra that I like, but at least I have sweet accessories to take on my runs. You can read more about the Koala Clip HERE.

She blends in with the background, but Rhea joined me for an easy 3 miles Wednesday afternoon. I jammed out to music and just enjoyed moving my body.

Lunch was another chicken, black beans, spinach, and pepper jack cheese on top of a tortilla. I found some hot mango salsa I had forgotten about, so I added that to everything. It was incredible.

Oh my gosh. This made me laugh so hard. I don’t know what I would do without Amazon Prime.

Guys, I went down a rabbit hole that I could not get out of. HA! It started with me wanting to go through my closet and get rid of some things, then I decided to put away all of my winter clothes and get out my spring/summer clothes. This is the disaster that happened. It took me about two hours to go through everything, but I have a big pile of things to get rid of and I feel like I have a whole new wardrobe since I haven’t worn some of these clothes since last year. I love being able to switch things out from my closet from winter to spring. I do still need to get rid of more stuff…it’s just SO hard!

Jake brought home a bunch of different wines for Valentine’s Day and we finally got around to opening one of them last night. This one was delicious!

The dinner table of athletes. I have been doing so well with foam rolling, but I have to make sure the foam rollers stay out so I see them. Dinner last night was the same as Tuesday night. Lentil pasta, ground elk, spaghetti sauce, mushrooms, nutritional yeast, and a salad. It was just as delicious as it was on Tuesday. Maybe even more so since I didn’t have to cook anything last night. ; )

I had a sore knee when I woke up this morning, so I missed my run with the girls, which makes me sad. I am in an all day training today, though, and we have an hour off for lunch, so I brought all my running stuff and will try to knock out my miles during that time if my knee feels better after moving around.

Happy Friday Eve, friends!
