Lu is a little princess. She either loves pillows or hates them…she turns 7 on Saturday. I can’t believe it!
Breakfast on Monday was egg muffins, grapefruit, and a piece of toast.
Our vet recommended doing a genetics test for Rhea since her blood work came back normal. (For new readers, Rhea is having some type of head tremor/seizure activity, so we are trying to figure out what it is.) We purchased a test from Wisdom Panel – you can read more about it HERE. I did the test yesterday, which was super easy to administer – you just collect some DNA by doing a cheek swab, then mail everything in. Once we get results, I will share everything with you guys! This is from their website, the premium test can help you do the following: Screen for genetic conditions related to drug sensitivities, vision, weight, mobility, and more with 200+ health tests; Test for 350+ breeds, types, and varieties—more than any other dog DNA test available; Identify breed mix down to 1%; Trace your dog’s ancestry back to their great-grandparents; Understand coat and eye color, ideal weight range, and more with 35+ trait tests.
The girls and I went for a long walk in the afternoon.
Then it was lunch time – I topped my taco pasta with almond shredded cheese and salsa. It was delicious.
Rhea was pretty worn out after our walk. She passed on out my foot like this.
I did a short strength workout, then had some Pop Chips and celery with peanut butter for a snack before a bike ride.
We are finally back to doing out Monday night rides! Kayla, my Dad, and I rode together on Mondays before winter hit, so I am super excited to get back to riding with them. Jake joined us, too!
After our ride, Jake and I went to dinner with my parents at The Pitch. I had a salad with chicken, buffalo sauce, goat cheese (my weakness), and their homemade ranch. They have the BEST ranch dressing.
Somehow I managed to turn my alarm off this morning, so I woke up my own at 6AM, which is when I normally meet the girls for our runs. Whoops. I texted them, saying I wouldn’t make it in time to meet them, drank some coffee, and headed out for some solo miles. I listened to country music the entire time I ran and just enjoyed zoning out a little bit.
After my run, it was time for breakfast – more egg muffins and a piece of toast.
Guys, I am super excited about this – this mascara is $4.99! It’s pretty awesome. I have used it a few times and each time I’ve been impressed. I wanted to try it out more than once before I shared it with you. 10/10 recommend! I was skeptical at first because of the price, but it’s great! I still love my Damn Girl mascara by Too Faced, but this stuff is pretty dang comparable for a fraction of the cost. I took this pictures after only one application – it gets clumpy if you apply too much.

Happy Tuesday, friends!
