First new gym workout + unpacking + back at it!

Jake and I finally got to use the gym at our apartment. We got a little bit of lifting in Monday morning, which felt great. It had been awhile since either of us had lifted – I was sore almost immediately after. Our apartment has half a basketball court in the gym, so we ended our lifting with a short game of PIG. Jake won. Eye-roll.

After our workout, we grabbed lunch then headed to our house to get one last load for the apartment. We are both sad to leave this place, especially since we are leaving WAY sooner than we planned (we thought we would be here for at least 5 years), but the buyers are very sweet and SO excited, so that makes it a little easier. I know they are going to love this home as much as we did.

After loading up one last load in the van, Jake headed to work and I went back to our apartment and made dinner. I had a bunch of random things, but this plate was delicious – tofu, green beans, carrots, hummus, and crackers. Yum.

We have less room for storage than we had at the house, so I am trying to make everything fit. This closet is FULL, but I managed to get everything into it. This closet is in our guest bathroom, so we are thankful for the extra room.

Rhea and I met these two (plus Cassie) for some miles this morning. I am ready to get back into my running routine – I missed it last week! The weather was cooler this morning, too, which was amazing. I do not enjoy running in the heat of the day, so 5AM runs are my favorite!

I was starving after our run, so I made a huge bowl of leftover tofu, sweet potatoes, broccoli, and two eggs. It hit the spot! I topped everything with nutritional yeast, Sriracha, and ketchup.

We have a couple of things we need to take to our storage unit today, but after that, we will be officially out of the house! We close on it later today, too, so after today, I sure hope things slow down a little bit. I told Jake I want to spend Wednesday at the pool. We both need some downtime!
