I have been struggling to get up in the mornings this week. I’ve just been feeling worn out. I also just really love sleep. I didn’t fall asleep until almost 3AM Monday night, so I didn’t get up at 4AM to run with the girls. I slept in, did a little computer work, then headed to the Y to do a run/body weight circuit. It was SO toasty. We have a half mile loop outside of our Y and I love to run on it, but I am such a terrible heat runner. I just can’t hang. This whole workout took me about 42 minutes The body weight circuit helped break up the run a little bit.
I made a massive burrito for brunch when I finished my workout. No more running outside after 10AM…I just can’t do it.
Jake and I headed to the pool for a little bit in the afternoon. He is off on Tuesdays, so we enjoyed a little bit of sunshine.
After the pool, I needed a little snack. Leftover pizza, crackers, and cashew queso. Mmm.
I hopped on my computer to knock out some work and these hoodlums all took a nap.
Dinner was one of my favorites – an easy one pan meal. This one had one bag of frozen broccoli, one bag of frozen rice, grains, & veggies, & sliced chicken sausage. I added in a little ghee, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, & turmeric. You can literally make this with ANYTHING. Bake at 350° for 20-30 minutes, depending  on what you put on the pan.
I topped mine with a little dairy-free cheese and chowed down.
Jake went on a bike ride, so the girls and I headed out for a little walk.
My friend, Kayla, sent me this picture. She was busy organizing her kitchen last night. It looks SO good!
Happy Wednesday, friends!
