I already showed Jake this picture, so I promise I’m not sharing it without his knowing. I woke up to him sleeping like on Monday morning. HA!
This breakfast is DELICIOUS. We are having avocado toast this week. Sourdough toast, half an avocado, arugula, an egg, cherry tomatoes, Sriracha, red pepper flakes, and two pieces of bacon. It’s amazing.
After breakfast, I did a little weight workout. I guess Rhea wanted in on it, too. She and Lu like to play on my yoga mat…they have scratched the crap out of it.
Lunch was leftover tofu, a salad, and some spicy nacho twists.
Lu needed some couch cuddles when I took a break from work. I was happy to oblige.
I’m not sure how I feel about these…Jake doesn’t like them, but I kinda do! I don’t love them, but I don’t dislike them. They’re cauliflower tortilla chips. They have a really good crunch, which I like.
Kayla and I got some bike miles in Monday evening. I’m so thankful for friends who like riding. I am still learning a lot about my bike, so it’s nice to be able to go out and get some miles in with friends.
We were standing by my car talking after our ride and I went to put my leg up on my bumper like this and totally missed it. It was hilarious, so we had to recreate it and she sent this picture to Jake. HA!
After my ride, I had a quick dinner of stuffed cabbage and banana bread.
I did not want to get up when my alarm went off at 4AM, but I knew I would regret skipping my run if I didn’t meet the girls, so I chugged a cup of coffee and hit the road.
I was so thankful I got up and ran with these three (Rhea is here, too). Check Kayla’s face….HA!
