Sleepy Lu always steals the best places on the couch. ALWAYS.
I was craving something sweet for lunch Tuesday, so I made a wrap with almond butter and honey and had a banana with cinnamon on the side. It was delicious! Nothing else sounded good, but this hit the spot.
Jake and I spent some time at the new house, then headed over to his parents’ for dinner. We had all kinds of delicious grilled foods. Jake and I split this burger patty and the most delicious skinless pineapple brat I’ve ever had. YUM. We got them from Hy-Vee.
When we got home, the girls needed lots of cuddles. Rhea let Jake lay like this for a long time.
I woke up at 5 and headed to the gym around 5:30. I feel SO much better when I get up the first time my alarm goes off.
I set up for day 3 of Hammer & Chisel. Holy burn. I am pretty sore already from this program!
After my workout, I took the girls on a 3-mile walk. We stopped for a drink and a little bit of play time in the creek.
Breakfast after my workout and walk was an egg and veggie scramble, a spicy veggie patty, and sourdough toast with jelly, chia seeds, and flaxseeds.
I have virtual office hours from 9-12 today, so I am looking forward to chatting with some of my students!
