Anyone else like ketchup on their eggs? I have put ketchup on my eggs ever since I can remember. My Grandma (Dad’s Mom) loves it, too.
Kayla sent me this selfie of her Dad and my Dad yesterday. He Dad came in for a dentist appointment. How cute are they?! This picture made me smile so big.
Sometimes Lu gets a little too excited in the car…and please look at Rhea’s face. HA! Her little tongue is sticking out.
When we ripped up the old deck at out our house, there was a huge step down from one of the back doors. My Dad took some of the old deck wood and fixed it up, then made a massive step for us. How cool is that? He’s so talented.
You know your husband trusts you when he lets you use one of his power tools. We sanded a whole room yesterday! Making progress! Can you tell we are ready to move in?
So. Much. Dust. My mask came in handy.
Here are the house projects we plan to knock out! We have decided to wait on our bathrooms and kitchen for a little bit, so we are focusing on the things we can do ourselves.
I went on a ride with Kayla, but forgot to take a picture. Our friends, Chris and Brittany, came over for dinner, so I thought this bottle of wine was appropriate. It has Snoop Dogg on it. I laughed really hard when I saw it. It was delicious!
Can you tell our girls love Brittany (and food)?
I made a random pasta bake for us and we threw a salad on the side. It was delicious! The pasta bake had cooked Banza noodles, a package of meatless ground beef, a bag of frozen broccoli, a bag of frozen peas, a can of spaghetti sauce, and some cheese. So easy and so good. I cooked it all at 350 for about 30 minutes.
Chris and Brittany were the first people we have had over for dinner at our apartment…we have been here 4 months. Whoops. We used to have people over for dinner all the time. I am ready to get moved and settled so we can do that again.
Happy Friday Eve, friends!
