Short on time + team no sleep + maybe by this weekend?!

After the gym yesterday, I ran some errands and repped some of my favorites things – my rabbit team hat and my new FitLife mask.

By the time I got home, I was ready for lunch – leftover chicken and broccoli with coconut aminos.

Plus some Nut Thins and salsa. This is the BEST combo.

I saw these while I was out running errands and HAD to get them. They’re fudge brownie and AMAZING. And yes, I shared with Jake…we still have over half this bag left! That’s impressive.

After lunch, I headed to the house to continue working on the kitchen! This might be too optimistic…but I hope to at least get the primer and one coat of paint on by the end of the weekend…I think I can do it! I finished filling all holes that needed to be filled and left them to dry.

This poor guy. He wanted us to have smooth ceilings, so he’s been mudding and sanding for what feels like the past 12 years.

I spent 2 hours deep cleaning the kitchen, then used a super deep cleaning agent called TSP that you’re supposed to use before painting. The cabinets are officially ready for paint!!! I just need to tape everything off. I’m so excited!

So happy to have a crazy clean kitchen.

The girls and I took a little break to play outside. They sprinted around the yard and I tried to plan out what to put on our patio…

The last cleaning thing I need to do in the kitchen is scrub the floor. It’s hard to tell in this picture, but I scrubbed everything up to where my finger is. You can definitely tell a difference in person. I’m about halfway done with scrubbing. Once I finish that, it’s time to tape, prime, and paint!

We both got to good stopping points, so we showered and grabbed a quick dinner. Jake told me he made this face to be funny…

This one’s not much better…

I ordered the al pastor tacos, but could only eat one because I ate my body weight in chips and salsa.

My favorite slides! They’re SO comfy.

These are the ones I have. They’re true to size and have the perfect amount of cushion. HIGHLY recommend.

My friend, Alex, sent me this mug and it’s so true…I need it! It says, “I survived another meeting” HA!

I saw this on social media and it made me laugh. If they do both, you really have a winner! ; )

I am running on two hours of sleep. I just couldn’t get my brain to shut off last night. I texted the girls at midnight saying I wasn’t sure if I’d make it to our run. I remember seeing the clock at 2AM, but I think I fell asleep a little bit after that. When my alarm went off at 4AM, I had every intention of sleeping longer, but I couldn’t fall back to sleep. I knew I might as well just get up and run with the girls. My day is bonkers today, so it was my only time to run. I am glad I ran, but I feel like I’m running on fumes now. We will see how the day goes! At least I will be busy, that should help! Aaaaand God made coffee. <3

Happy Friday Eve, friends!
