A pup party + my favorite picture + thankful for an office!

I have yet to tackle that green box of things in my office, but yesterday ended up being a fairly busy day. I DID manage to squeeze in a short nap, which was wonderful, but I spent the rest of the day working in my office. I know I’ve said this before, but I am SO thankful to not only be able to work from home, but to also have an office I love working in every single day. I worked hard to get here and sometimes I have to pinch myself that it’s real, HA!

We had a little pup party yesterday. Our friend, Alex, dropped her girls off for a little play date yesterday. Taking a picture of four dogs is not my strong suit…thank you, Rhea, for cooperating. We love when Skoshee and Gracie come over. These four played all day long.

These two got in a huge fight over a tennis ball, so the other two steered clear while they figured it out.

I will share a better picture later, but this is my favorite picture right now. One of our embryos. I took stills from the video we received of our embryo growing. We have a video documenting the first 140 hours of this little one’s life, which makes me tear up every time I watch it. I put these pictures together showing development every 24 hours and it is so incredible to see the growth. IVF is not easy, but one amazing thing it gives us is the honor of seeing our babies grow from day 1. I have the picture in my office and it’s definitely a favorite.

These two wore each other out after playing all day.

Jake and his Dad worked on wiring some lights in our dining room, which is the next room we are going to finish (YAY!), so while they did that, I did a little meal prep. I made more breakfast burritos (here), some chickpea chicken salad (minus the chicken), and some guacamole.

Dinner last night was cauliflower spaghetti noodles with ground beef and spaghetti sauce.

This was my first time making these cauliflower noodles. They’re pretty good! I think I took them out of the boiling water one minute too soon, so we want to try them again, but let them cook a bit longer. They have a slight peppery taste, which we both really liked.

Our sliding glass door between the dining room and sunroom is being installed as I type – wahoo! I can’t wait to see it up.

Happy Wednesday, friends!
