Loving this weather + bye-bye trees (sad face) + finally feeling like a run!

I was in a running funk all weekend and didn’t feel like running at all. I took the girls on an easy two mile run Monday morning and it felt good to move, so I was hoping I’d feel like running more as the week went on. The weather was amazing and it felt so good to run in the sunshine.

After my run, I did a little computer work before heading to the gym. Anyone else talk to their significant other through their doorbell camera? We always do this and it makes me laugh.

These egg sandwiches are going to be SO good all week.

It was a sad day watching the two big trees in our front yard get cut down. I know they were both in pretty bad shape (they were rotting), but I love trees and hated to see them go.

I spent the rest of the day on my computer. I took a little break for lunch – egg and chickpea salad on GF toast with grapes. This egg salad is AMAZING.

It took The Canopy Guy most of the day to tackle the trees in our front yard. They’ll be back today to work in the backyard. I think they are scheduled to be at our house until Thursday. We have used The Canopy Guy for the past few years and are always super impressed with his work. 10/10 recommend if you’re needing any tree work.

I went on a bike ride with my Dad when he got off work, then I showered and got ready for bed. I had an interview with one of my new study participants at 8PM last night. I was thankful I could be comfy and interview her in my jammies since it was a phone interview. I put my phone on speaker and use QuickTime to record our conversation. It works really well!

Dinner was taco stuffed zucchini boats – YUM. These have ground turkey, black beans, sweet corn, chilis, and cheese in them.

I felt like running this morning (YAY!), so I sipped on coffee and had two Graham crackers before meeting the girls. Jake took me on a new loop last week, so I was excited to show it to them this morning.

6 miles in the best weather to start our Tuesday!

Post-run stretches/cuddles. Rhea makes stretching slightly difficult.

Happy Tuesday, friends!
