I ripped out Rhea’s fur on accident + dining room progress! + no pain!!

This week, we are having breakfast casserole. I added a graham cracker with PB. I love ketchup on egg casserole. Maybe too much…

I didn’t know Rhea was right next to my office chair and I accidentally rolled over some of her fur and pulled out this huge chunk…I felt awful.

This little one got tired of not getting attention, so she sat on my lap for awhile during the afternoon session on the workshop I’m in this week. In case you wanted an update, I am not enjoying the workshop. I thought it was going to get better, but it really hasn’t. I’m in it until Friday afternoon, so we’ll see how it goes.

Lunch was a veggie sandwich and puffs. These sandwiches are SO delicious. They have a gluten-free bun, dairy-free cream cheese and a cheese slice, tomato, avocado, onion, and green pepper. YUM.

I love everything that Lesser Evil makes, but this is my first time trying these and they’re so delicious. This is the spicy salsa flavor.

An apple with cinnamon and brown sugar = the best snack.

After my workshop, the three of us went on a three mile walk and I listened to podcasts. My ankle was still a tiny bit sore, but definitely healing, so I was thankful for that. After our walk, we played fetch for about 20 minutes. We took advantage of the break from all the rain we’ve been having.

Jake started working on our dining room! I cannot wait to see this room all finished. We haven’t done any major projects lately, so I think we are both ready to knock something out. Once this room is finished, we will only have our bathrooms to do (for now), so it feels like we are making more progress. Eventually, we will be taking out walls, redoing the kitchen, and painting the outside, so we have some major things we want to do down the road. But for now, we are almost finished with projects.

Rhea was not being helpful with drywall…

Dinner was the last of our spaghetti squash casserole, salad, and GF drop biscuits.

I wanted to try running this morning to see how my ankle felt. I got 5 miles in with no pain! I think I smiled all 5 miles.

Rhea was with me, too. She is not a fan of the weather getting warmer…

I got home from my run, changed into dry clothes, grabbed breakfast, and hopped into my workshop. Not looking forward to it today…

Happy Wednesday, friends!
