Our poor front yard is SO ugly right now. We are about to have some dirt work done, so we had to kill off all the grass in our front yard. It’s so sad to look at…no big trees and dead grass. One day, our house will be pretty….just not any time soon. We are both itching to paint the outside ASAP…we will see how long we can hold out. We have some other projects that probably need to be knocked out before we paint, but painting our house is going to make such a big difference. She’s not the prettiest thing to look at right now, but we love her anyway!
I went to the gym, then had my leftovers from the Aviary – a crepe and brussels. YUM.
I spent the day working on my computer. Other than recording welcome videos, I think my summer courses are ready to go! Jake and I had a snack of tomatoes, avocado, and cut up string cheese late afternoon. It was our version of a caprese salad. It was delicious.
My next fun little project is to paint this small table and use it in our entryway for plants. This was my Grandma’s, so I’m excited to repurpose it.
Nothing sounded good for dinner last night, but I found some Beyond Meat ‘ground beef’ crumbles in our freezer, so I made tacos with that, brown rice tortillas, a little shredded cheese, and purple cabbage. Simple but tasty.
My legs have been so sore since the gym on Tuesday, so I grabbed a book and used our Air Relax before bed. Someone suggested I read The Last Mrs. Parrish, so that is what I’m working on right now. I have stocked up on books and have already gotten through quite a few these past weeks. I loooove reading. I will share what I read and which ones I love as I finish them.
Happy Friday, friends!
